POSITION SUMMARY: 

Our dry pet food factory, located just 10 miles from downtown, has been a production facility for over 50 years. As producers of iconic brands such as Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, and Beneful®, we contribute to the well-being of pets in the community and nationwide. Our factory is also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.  OKC offers the best of both worlds—the amenities of a big city with a small-town feel, where you can enjoy a variety of affordable activities, thanks to the temperate weather and low cost of living. As a Manufacturing Production Coordinator, you’ll manage SAP recipe and master data for raw materials, oversee ingredient inventory, conduct variance analysis, and address root cause issues. Ensure compliance with standards while collaborating with plant floor employees to meet factory objectives. Additionally, you’ll serve as the primary backup for the Packing Coordinator and assist in monitoring the factory budget.
  • Perform SAP health checks and aborted batch log
  • Perform daily tasks for ingredient inventory verification on bulk ingredients, Bin cut offs, and track batch merges
  • Deliver daily slurry/frozen inventory reconciliation & variance posting
  • Analyze ingredient variances and initiate problem-solving activities
  • Oversee daily health check, ensure SAP and GPMQ balances are aligned
  • Conduct regular accounting audits. Participate in test recalls and traces
  • Perform receiving responsibilities for purchase orders.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience: 1+ years materials accounting and production systems experience within a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment 

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $42,000 to $58,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
