Position Summary

The Senior Coordinator position is the essential face of Human Resources and always maintains a customer-centric focus. They support Human Resources with an additional focus on our Training and Education Department. This includes embracing the competency framework used to guide winning teams and supporting the learning paths for our technical teams, having a good grasp on the Manufacturing Excellence Implementation Plan, and handling confidential information in an appropriate manner. They will be working in an ever-growing, ever-changing, and fast-paced environment. Additionally, they will own the administration of our qualification programs, as well as support our New Hire Orientation and onboarding programs. 

 

This position will provide a lot of support to the department and act as a reinforcement for other Human Resources roles and responsibilities which could include, but is not limited to, payroll, tracking hourly JIT qualifications, and different reports. The position includes providing assistance with maintaining attendance records, updating discipline databases, and tracking Probationary reports. While providing the support it will be primary focus to maintain all confidentiality that applies to the actions. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Possess deep understanding and provide insight to overall Human Resources department processes.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts by working with TA team to complete intake forms, coordinate interviews, setting up physicals, background checks, support New Hire Orientation prep and activities, process new hires, employee moves, terminations, etc. in SuccessFactors
  • Maintain and administer all leave requests, specifically Family Medical Leave Act, run the weekly Accrual Balances and Projections Report out of Kronos, send out appropriate correspondence, maintain the yearly ongoing spreadsheet for Sickness and Accident and Log ADA Accommodations
  • Assist in employee and labor relations (union contract) questions and concerns and/or complaints with employees
  • Administer Maintenance Progression Plan program, tracking and overall employee experience
  • Responsible for compiling information for AAP Plan (quarterly and yearly) including interview log, promotion, separations, transfers.
  • Other job duties as required


 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • 2+ years’ executive or HR administrative experience required.
  • 4+ years’ administrative experience preferred.
