Position Summary

 

As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the direct management and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions at the organizations warehouse facilities. You will also be accountable for costs, performance, and quality of outbound freight, as well as adherence to safety and organizational policies and procedures.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement strategies, policies, procedures, goals/objectives, and measurement mechanisms to ensure the successful attainment of the warehouse department and factory. Align with the Plant and Company Blueprint for Success.
  • Place a high emphasis on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, cost efficiency, sanitation, productivity, operating efficiency, inventory accuracy, product quality/availability, and continuous improvement.
  • Hire, train, organize, and manage clerical and hourly staff assigned to the warehouse department.
  • Develop, present, and execute the warehouse capital and operating budgets. Monitor costs on a daily basis.
  • Prepare correspondence, attend meetings, and effectively communicate and coordinate with department personnel, plant management, St. Louis staff, personnel at other plants, carriers, and vendors to accomplish the department, plant, and company mission and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain a personal level of communication with customers and employees, including periodic visits to key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred               
  • 5 years operational experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • 2 years of leadership experience in a production/warehouse environment

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $76,000.00 - $122,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
