Our dry pet food factory, located just 10 miles from downtown, has been a production facility for over 50 years. As producers of iconic brands such as Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, and Beneful®, we contribute to the well-being of pets in the community and nationwide. Position Summary

 

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will direct the actions of warehouse team members who perform receiving, storage and shipping functions in support of plant production operations. Communicate with managers, team leaders, team members, and clerical staff in other plant departments on matters applicable to warehouse operations. Also ensure warehouse operations are safe, sanitary, efficient, cost effective, and meet all NQS standards.

  

Primary Responsibilities:  

 

• Train and provide technical guidance to shift team members, including forklift operators and the warehouse clerk.

• Assign work tasks to team members and monitor task completion.

• Ensure safe work practices and promote a safe work environment.

• Address and resolve personnel, mechanical, operational, and resource-related issues.

• Draft procedures and handle administrative tasks such as reviewing time records, scheduling vacations, and filling out supply requests.

• Coordinate with various departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

• Keep team members informed about administrative matters, policies, procedures, and performance.

• Provide regular feedback to team members regarding their individual work performance.

• Communicate with Logistics Manager/Warehouse Manager regarding warehouse operations and significant matters.

High School Diploma or equivalent required              

2-3 years operational experience in a fast-paced warehouse required

2 years of leadership experience in a production/warehouse environment

 

Other:

Must be willing to work 3rd shift 

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000-$83,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
