Position Summary

You will provide professional support for the development of Agri-service activities, with focus on fieldwork, suppliers, and stakeholders attention in Milk Supplier Development Areas. You will also Focus on quality safety and cost in alignment with business requirements and Ensure availability of raw materials that meet future consumer needs and expectations.

A Day in The Life 

• Recruit new farmers and develop existing farmers' size.

• Strengthen and loyalty with adequate selection of partners, maintaining a strong relationship management, and ensure implementation of the Nestle requirements.

• Provide technical assistance to farmers on specific topics when required (Milk quality and safety, Sustainability)

• Ensure farmers training in good and sustainable agricultural practices

• Give Field support in supplier development activities - sustainbaility projects, milk productivity projects, etc.

• Assist farmer in technical solving problems.

• Conduct business intelligence at Country level, spot business serving opportunities and provide direction and counsel on expanding the sourcing area.

• Support the raw material purchasing operation as per local needs

What will make you successful…

• Master/Engineer degree in agriculture, food sciences, veterinary or equivalent.

• 4 years’ experience in working with farmers or in rural environment.

• Demonstrated experience in sourcing with a strong interest for purchasing.

• Basic experience in supplier development principles is desirable.

• Good Knowledge about dynamics of rural societies, their development, and raw material production systems.

• Good Agricultural Practices.
