POSITION SUMMARY

Ensure production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with legal requirements meeting safety, quality, hygiene and environmental needs. Effectively employing its people, resources and facilities to manufacture the products with the lowest total cost.  Empower & motivate the team to develop their skills & competencies to help them achieve their PDP goals.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Ensure that all working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Ensure safety requirements of all employees are with accordance with standards & check and enforce personnel hygiene. Ensure that risk assessments are up to date, risk predictions are done when it is required and updating safety maps on regular bases, environmental hazards identification fixing is done on frequent bases. All SHE abnormalities are tagged with clear action plans to close the gaps. Coaching/Leading SHE investigation by using problem solving tools. Lead sustainability initiatives in factory (Plastic reduction, virgin plastic reduction, Solid wastes reduction, packaging reduction) Support the assigned market in procurement of funds in cost-efficient way and in optimizing cost of capital
•  Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards (compliant), on time and meeting consumer expectations. Ensure continuous line controls and immediate corrective action to assure prescribed quality and to ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions. Coaching/Leading Quality related investigations by using problem solving tools.
• Coach the team to fulfil and exceed the requirements of the job through NCE approaches as well as NCE advanced practices TPM/LEAN in his line. Ensure compliance with NCE roll out on assigned lines.
• Managing a team with accordance to PDPs (People Development & Performance) which require performance evaluation & calibration that are linked to personal development plans with clear goals. Conducting Check-in(s) with the team to get/give constructive feedback & provide coaching on development areas of an employee for year-end review. Responsible for conducting Talent Assessments & Talent Calibration for outperforming operators. Manage the liquidities and debts of each market to optimize usage of funds.
• Achieve material utilization, labor utilization, fixed and variable costs standards. Ensure that consumption of raw & packaging materials as per standard loss & achieve target "Zero" waste.
• Achieving zero findings during factory audits and assessments such as NIA, FIAT, Q Compliance, CARE audits
• Ensure that there is an adequate distribution of skills & responsibilities among the employees to enable production plan to be achieved effectively with minimum possible unplanned stoppages and idle hour & correspondence to timely feedback and coaching's of the team to reach their full potential and to achieve objectives in accordance with NCE guidelines. Achieve new product plan in terms of schedule (time), quality and cost.

What will make you successful…

• Academic Experience: Diploma in technical discipline e.g. engineering or food science & Preferably Bachelor's degree in technical discipline e.g. engineering or food science.
• Having 5-7 years’ experience in production environment
• Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and employee involvement techniques.
• Implementation experience of Cocomplete or working on professional qualification like the ACT and ACCA – Preferred
• Experience in change Management
• Experience in leading group of people
• Successful in leading projects involving different departments or functions.
