Position Summary


As Junior FinOps Analyst you will work in environments with wide and diverse range of technologies, solutions supporting Digital Brand Presence on different platforms, needs and requirements.
 

Your responsibilities will include reporting & forecasting cloud consumption costs, championing cost optimization, procuring reserved instances, crafting dashboards, maintaining critical account metadata, ad hoc analysis while we transition from an old Chargeback model into FinOps.

A day in the life of...



•    Prepare and present cloud spend updates and recommendations to client teams.
•    Evaluate historical cloud spend to identify patterns and opportunities for cost reduction or optimization.
•    Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess cloud spend risks and opportunities.
•    You will be responsible for financial data analysis on the digital services provided by external suppliers
•    Chargeback, by providing information and consultation to Nestle entities in different countries on service costs
•    Support the Platform team on the Dynamic Forecast cycles and  
•    You will collaborate with Nestle digital suppliers and the internal finance team.

What will make you successful

 


•    University Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or similar field of study 
•    1-2 year’s experience in Finance, and FinOps desired
•    Public Cloud cost/spend management and tools (Azure, AWS, GCP Cloud Console, Cloudability, Cloudhealth, etc).
•    Good knowledge of MS Office tools, and advanced knowledge of Excel
•    Basic IT knowledge and experience on website hosting service is an advantage
•    Experience or interest on learning about Accounting and cost management                    
•    Good communication skills in English (both speaking and writing)
•    Self-confident, reliable, customer-oriented, a team-player and result-focused, as well as able to work independently on an international environment.
