Position Summary

In order to complete our Marketing, Sales and eBusiness Technology Department, we are currently looking for an IT IT Eretailing & Marketplace Tech’ Specialist    

As an IT Eretailing & Marketplace Tech’ Specialist you will be responsible for the technical vision of the product (application and integration architecture) and provides the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required by a product or an integrated chain of products. S/He facilitates and orchestrates across teams the agile and incremental delivery of targeted business outcomes (minimum viable products) in DevOps mode. This role animates technical discussions and sharing within own team and across teams, participates in sketching sessions with the behavioral specialist, product manager and business analyst, coaches younger developers and partners with operations to improve the continuous delivery pipeline. The Tech Lead implements the designs proposed by Solution Architects and taste-tested with IS/IT Consumers.

As a IT Eretailing & Marketplace Tech’ Specialist you also will be responsible for setting, prioritizing and managing Marketplace IS/IT projects to ensure it delivers expected value to the Business partner following the project performance dimensions within the Organisation:  Adoption, Usage, Health, Recognition, Feature consumption and Cost.

Key responsibilities

•    Contributes to value delivery plans to meet the objectives and company needs at cost and in time, typically in sync with product management, enterprise architecture and business analyst.
•    Oversees and facilitates the research, evaluation, and selection of technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configuration
•    Drives innovation by leveraging new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base and IS/IT estate
•    Analyze global needs to prioritize feature requests with external product teams and collaborate together to define a scalable & impactful product roadmap.
•    Understands, advocates, and augments the business and IS/IT Product strategies 
•    Is responsible for key system design and integration decisions around tools, processes and practices enabling teams to apply DevOps practices.
•    Asses value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
•    Contributes to the Strategy on Product usage to achieve Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (ID) in its area of expertise.
•    Assists with designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring solution and integration architecture compliance
•    Leads the analysis of the current technology environment to recommend solutions for improvement. Leads the analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise as well as on the enterprise technology architecture
•    Work with central eBusiness function to put together the Digital Commerce Marketplace objectives and KPI’s.
•    Oversees, or consults on, technology implementation and modification activities particularly for new or shared solutions with the Architecture Community.
•    Accountable for ensuring target architectures meet current and identified future security, compliance and privacy requirements
•    Works with peers (enterprise, BAs, information and solutions architects) to analyze enterprise business context and to develop products that incrementally deliver business value
•    Collaborate with the external UX / UI teams to design new functionalities or improve existing ones in the simplest and most efficient way
•    Works cross-functionally to accomplish assignments. Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization 
•    Collaborates with experts and architecture peers to Helps the enterprise architect define metrics to measure and demonstrate value
•    Manage an external group of Project Managers so the product deployments are well taken care of. 
•    Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
•    Project monitored and controlled, risks managed, budget controlled: manage the day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams and ensure the adherence to the project plan.
•    Identify and mitigate project risk, keeping issues visible, to avoid impacting the project’s success

•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
•    5+ years of design and implementation experience in IS/IT, with Agile methodologies (Proven track record in the Marketplace area is a bonus)
•    Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
•    Strong experience of development life cycle methodologies (e.g. Agile software development, rapid prototyping, lean start-up, PMI®, Prince 2 Agile®, Lean Start-up, KANBAN, SDM, D&C, SCRUM)  and a deep understanding of DevOps
•    Proven ability to define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and experience delivering them rapidly and with a high rate of IS/IT consumer adoption
•    Experience in working with IS/IT consumers, understanding requirements and opportunities and translating them into solutions and taste-testing minimum viable products (A/B testing, etc.)
•    Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams 
•    Knowledge and strong expertise of application, integration and information architecture 
•    Deep functional knowledge enabling to carry the technical vision
•    Understanding of the long- and short-term perspectives of situations and how they relate to achieving targeted business outcomes
•    Deep understanding the technical implications from the new epics and user-stories
•    Good understanding of technology, security architecture and of IS/IT standards and controls
•    Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics.
•    Experience in successful automation of services and processes.
•    Agile engineering mindset and experience of working in Agile environment.
•    Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to consider issues from different perspectives and draw commercially sound recommendations.
•    Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
•    Knowledge of network, server hardware and software infrastructure design.
•    Analytical thinking abilities, problem solving mindset.
•    Hands on approach.
•    Distinctive skills in planning & prioritizing.
•    Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate the Digital Commerce Markeplace objectives, inspire and motivate product managers, and maintain alignment to the business strategy.
•    Experienced in working with tools, i.e. ServiceNow, PowerBI and scripting and programming languages.
•    Experience in Marketplace/eRetailing scraping technologies and BuyNow would be an asset.
•    Google Analytics, PIM/Content manager, SEO and/or Programmatic knowledge is strong a plus
•    Substantial consulting leadership experience a plus
