Position Summary

Are you passionate about advanced analytics and data science in a challenging business/manufacturing environment? This role will work with different product groups globally and provide expertise and guidance on the best ways to integrate advanced analytics solutions with the digital manufacturing applications.  This role will be responsible to ensure consistency and reliability of the advanced analytics solutions as well as ensuring best practices are defined and adhered to.  

A day in the life of...

•    Support and architect enterprise-scale solutions utilizing emerging platforms and technologies.
•    Design and implement the optimal present and future-state data-blending and analytical architectures for manufacturing scenarios.
•    Evaluate and drive new and key technologies and methodologies including, but not limited to: Machine Learning techniques, Distributed Computing, Connected Devices, DevOps
•    Ability to provide third level support including assisting with creating customized or out of the box solutions.
•    Act as a technical lead on projects as assigned.
•    Evolve the analytics data model consistent with the strategic business imperatives
•    Translates business requirements to strategic data models and creates standards
•    Perform the system analysis and design for the manufacturing platform and analytics technologies
•    Delivers standard, customized and/or strategic, solution demonstrations and presentations outlining the functional capabilities and business benefits. 
•    Previously used systems such as Brain Cube, Trendminer, Twin Thread, etc.

What will make you successful

•    Bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience 
•    5+ years of experience in a combination of Manufacturing IT, Engineering, and/or Automation. 
•    Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) 
•    Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams 
•    Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote) 
•    Proven ability to work in Agile project teams
