Position Summary

Are you passionate about applications used in the manufacturing environment and exciting new technologies being used in this dynamic environment?   This position will work with different product groups globally and provide expertise and guidance with the Aveva product suite as well as other applications within our digital manufacturing space.  This role will be responsible to ensure consistency and reliability of application configuration as well as ensuring best practices are defined and adhered to.  This role will focus on applications in our digital manufacturing area and define the most efficient and robust way to configure and utilize these applications on our factory floor.

A day in the life of...

•    Works with the Digital Manufacturing team on DMO and CONNECT solutions.  
•    Provides documented solutions regarding configuration and implementation
•    Writes and maintains test scripts
•    Performs application and integration testing
•    Subject matter expert for DMO and CONNECT
•    Troubleshooting and analysis of MES solutions, Poka, etc.
•    Reviews Development (Agile Methodology)
•    Provides appropriate training to the Regions and System Integrators
•    Works with the regions on factory and market implementations and configuration 
•    Participating in POC’s and pilots of new solutions and digital applications
•    Create training content for IT Digital Academy (e-Learnings, videos, etc.)
 

What will make you successful

•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, systems analysis, or related studies and experience  5+ years of experience in a combination of Manufacturing IT, Engineering, and/or Automation. 
•    Experience with implementing and integrating MES products
•    Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams 
•    Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote) 
•    Proven ability to work in Agile project teams
