In order to complete our Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) Department, we are currently looking
for a IS/IT Senior Product Manager (ADI) – Center 4 Enablement – Advisory.
Position Summary
Under the supervision and guidance of your primary Product Group Manager based in the USA, you will
be responsible for one or several products within the product group and you will be responsible for the
go-to-market strategy, product vision and vision execution as well as the end-to-end value delivery
(including IS/IT consumers’ adoption). You will be accountable for the product from ideation and
strategy through continuous value management to retirement. You will lead business partners to
generate digital opportunities for products, services, processes and experience channels. You will
facilitate the adoption of digital technology and modular designs for a given scope to capture business
opportunities and ensure value realization. As C4E Advisory Product manager, you are a thought leader
for Digital transformation and API led integration, who generates demand and sustains a pipeline of
opportunities in line with the in-scope Function, Zone, Market, IT and the Stream strategies as
appropriate. You inspire and foster value driven culture within your scope leveraging digital technology
and managing stakeholders on relevant innovation topics. You will support on-boarding and growth of
fellows and actively participate in the Enterprise architecture and API Community of Practice.
Key responsibilities
Product Strategy and Releases:
• Use the deep understanding of the business capabilities to segment IS/IT customers and
consumers based on their needs and profile. Provide an outside in based view of how to best
target each segment
• Working with the business relationship manager, enterprise architect and strategic product
architect, develop a product strategy and vision aimed at maximizing value in line with
corporate and business strategy
• Define the long-term business capability automation and digitalization roadmap for the business
outcomes the product or product group deliver
• Orchestrating internal and external multi-functional stakeholders to define, validate and refine
product vision, strategy, definitions and roadmaps
• Prepare the strategy and communication material to create a shared understanding of the
product in particular on how to:
o market and sell it (for Business Relationship Managers at the Centre and in the
markets)
o deliver and operate it (for product teams)
o measure its success (for Performance Manager and Business Relationship Managers)
Support and Delivery
• Work closely with resource pooling groups within ADI to ensure successful delivery of ADI
products as a transversal service to Functional Units
• Ensure product contribution to the business value (follow the guidelines of the CIO office for
the business KPIs)
• Participate in the IS/IT governance processes that enable prioritization across multiple options
and support the business governance processes (e.g. automation that would remove business
headcounts or drastically impact business ways of working)
• Provide performance manager with relevant data in an automated way in accordance to
performance management requirements (real-time, etc.)
Analysis
• Analyze reporting provided by the performance manager for insights of product impact and
adoption in market. Work with customers to define and validate specific key value indicators
(KVIs); define with team key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve the product value
• Analyze competitive landscape, specifically for TCO / value for money to inform the product
strategy before and during product life
• Understands the business risk appetite and delivers applications within that acceptable risk
level.
Sustain the change and people management
• Create the context: create alignment, lead by example, promote an open culture and our values
in a sustainable way. (Sustain the change)
• Select talent: recruit and onboard people and plan capabilities for the future
• Develop people: coach, define effective development plans and assess talent, building the right
capabilities for the team and for the organization long-term success.
• Drive performance: empower and enable people, give and receiv e feedback, evaluate and
differentiate performance, constantly challenges the set up organization to ensure its results
and effectiveness.
Required Profile
Must have:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably information systems or field related to the product
· Demonstrated experience in:
o A product based IS/IT organization with responsibilities to drive value from cross functional data assets, digital architecture and API led design.
o Strategic advisory or consulting roles to help Business + IT leaders understand the digital value proposition, shape strategy and align goals.
· 7+ years of experience in IS/IT, working with multi-discipline teams that leverage cloud native technology and APIs.
· 4+ years of experience with team leadership and/or business relationship management in an IS/IT delivery context, in a Global environment with virtual teams and outsourced entities
· Sales, Marketing and Communications: Experience with advocacy, marketing and communications of new ideas or products and conviction that they are critical for scope success
· Experience with agile project / iterative innovation management methodologies (idea to concept to completion, design thinking, lean start-up).
· Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Experience working in matrix organizations with the ability to foster new communities and influence diverse business partners
· Strong business acumen and business planning skills working with senior stakeholders
· Excellent understanding of business complexity, interdependencies and the value of self-service solutions to democratize IT
· Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments including hybrid enterprise landscapes utilizing cloud, multi could and onpremise solutions.
· Strong understanding of cloud native technology, digital decoupling and the importance of API led design principles.
· Previous experience with one or more cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google, Salesforce, Mulesoft
· Curious about emerging technology trends with willingness to experiment
· Strong experience applying communication at different levels in the organization with the ability to navigate terminology between business and technology teams. (In English)
Nice to have:
· Experience with enterprise data strategy and cross functional data assets
· Good understanding of information risk and security guidelines, basic understanding of system engineering
· Understanding of how the technologies are applied in the scope by best-in-class companies
· Working knowledge of consumer research and UI/UX
· Organization: Above-average organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time
