To strengthen our Global Tech Hub in Barcelona, we are looking for a Product Stream Operations Manager to complete our Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) Department.
Position Summary
You will assume the overarching responsibility for supporting the Head of Products and Platforms to ensure smooth operations of the stream. Part of your responsibilities is to ensure discipline in managing and optimizing the product based operating model within the stream by leveraging ways of working set by the O-CIO. Some activities include testing, application maintenance, proactive monitoring, L&T onboarding, compliance orchestrations and housekeeping. You will oversee the end-to-end support operations provided by near/offshore managed-services for the given products groups and/or platform taking care of ITIL services for L2 and L3 support organizations
Furthermore, you will provide analysis of data and you will allow to make the best possible use of all resources and deliver the maximum value and benefits from products, assets, suppliers and projects/programs within the portfolios. The position includes some aspects of advisory and recommendations for identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating resources engaged with all or many of the elements of the IS/IT program portfolio.
Key responsibilities
• Lead reviews of any significant portfolio elements on a periodic basis and on demand if they are challenged. Provide visibility on trends and forecasts versus plans and provide recommendations as to whether elements should continue as-is, be significantly changed, placed on hold or discontinued
• Make decisions and recommendations for the portfolios that are clearly linked to stream strategy, objectives and goals, reflecting an awareness of external dynamics
• As mandated and resourced by leadership, ensure and balance the availability of the required skills, competencies, and budget across teams within the product portfolio
• Ensure the adherence to the appropriate governance functions relating to the portfolios and in accordance with enterprise guidelines, policies and practices
• Supported by the O-CIO Performance Management monitor and support execution as defined per service agreements and take necessary actions in case of deviations
• If pools exist within a stream or platform can play the pool lead role. The position includes some aspects of advisory and recommendations for identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating resources engaged with all or many of the elements of the IS/IT program portfolio
• Where applicable and possible for certain activities include the support & leverage part of the regional stream to form a mutualized team of resources to deliver services centrally, regionally under the same governance principles.
• Support leverage activities of the product groups in different delivery models (global to local, global to regional to local) by conducting webinars, training, stream product catalogue enrichment.
• Collaborate with product group and/or platform managers to keep up to date the IS/IT product catalog with engaging content for sharing visibility on products, advertising the unique selling propositions of ISIT product, inform on best in class implementation via use cases, link to webinars
• Engage with and conduct quarterly (or at other intervals as specified) reviews with senior product managers, business relationship managers and other relevant bodies to validate and assess the product portfolio, execute change, and reprioritize to meet business needs as required
• Conduct regular meetings with the Product group managers and head of stream to inform and alert them of any issues arising from the performance of the individual elements within the portfolios to assure the on-plan usage and consumption of resources and funding, and to highlight any variances
• Collaborate with senior product managers, BRMs and the business to identify opportunities to optimize operations.
Required Profile
• Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major IS/IT projects and programs
• Demonstrated experience in managing ""upward"" among senior leadership
• Demonstrated experience participating into strategic prioritization and complex governance initiatives
• Substantial consulting leadership experience would be a plus
• Familiarity with the use of reporting tools to monitor portfolio activities and analyze portfolio performance
• Familiarity with one or more agile program management methodologies (such as Agile or SAFe)
• Understanding of elements of the portfolios (product groups, talent, suppliers, investments and assets)
• Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units. Familiar with industry trends and innovation
• Strong analytical, conceptual and financial analysis skills, and familiarity with financial reporting tools
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver against financial and resource constraints
• Effective influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
