We are at the forefront of new transversal emerging technologies such as Next AI, Blockchain Implications (Web3, NFT..), Next VR/Metaverse, Distributed Data lakes, Quantum Computing. To strengthen our IS/IT Innovation group, we are looking for a Business Analyst Emerging Tech to complete our Transversal Emerging Technologies team.

Position Summary

In this position, you will serve as a liaison between the IS/IT Innovation Stakeholders accross the Global IT Hub and End Users. As part of the team, you bring deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing the business function and advise on the best solutions. You further translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements, and plays a key role within the product team to specify, test and deploy those as IS/IT solutions. 
Your mission will be to support the exploration, understanding, validation and recommendation of the emerging IT Technologies (AI, Blockchain, Metaverse, …) that will impact to Nestlé during the next years. This will give you a unique opportunity to gain a global perspective on this adoption process in IT that will help you to educate, coach and share knowledge on how to apply this technology across Nestlé.

A day in the life of...

• Partner with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT requirements
• Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications
• Document training materials for new technologies
• Deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams
• Support IS/IT Project Manager to deliver the emerging technology insights 
• Design business scenarios and use cases for the new technology adoption, including product introduction, specification and the change management required to maximize its adoption/value
• Work with IS/IT Product Managers to define the minimum viable product (MVP) and roadmap that satisfies the business or technical need
• Responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and ensure they are considered in the solution design
• Develop, motivate and direct staff belonging to various organizations (business and IS/IT) to understand the business needs and find the best solution that will both align with the receiver objectives
• Define and communicate the solution Value Proposition and offering/products

What will make you successful

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in technical projects 
• Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment 
• Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
• Project management experience, ability to manage multiple tasks and define priorities is a plus
• Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies
• Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements
• Understanding of some of the key fields in emerging technologies like Machine Learning (ML), Blockchain implications (NFT’s, Web3, ...) and/or Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Metaverse
• Technology knowledge beneficial to the job profile: AWS, Azure, GCP cloud architecture knowledge, App Development languages (pythons, js, …)  
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
• Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
