In the Marketing, Sales and eBusiness Technology department (MSE) we strive to be the preferred and most solicited intrapreneurs of Nestlé IT, an industry reference and as technology enablers we provide personalized, mobile only, AI powered products and eco-systems creating delightful and frictionless consumer and customer experiences.

Position Summary

With an exclusive focus on the Nespresso business, you will be in charge of the technology architecture of the Direct To Consumer Supply Chain, in a business where DTC is the core.

Nespresso success relies on efficient supply chain (both upstream and downstream). The excellence in those operations guarantee the success of direct to customer model.
To continue ensuring this success, we are looking for a Supply Chain Solution Architect, that will bring knowledge, experience and expertise to our teams and help us drive the evolution of our technological stack.
You will have experience in 

  • Supply chain operations
  • Delivery services
  • Order management systems
  • Customer facing parcel tracking systems
  • Ability to compose with a wide variety of software and components to operate the best landscape possible
  • Good understanding of master data governance
  • You understand how to work in value-stream teams and cross-functional teams that go beyond traditional boundaries
  • Experience required in custom-build supply chain systems + in commercial tools / cloud solutions

A day in the life of...

  • You will synthetize the different tech landscapes across our markets : global versus local solutions, short term ones versus strategic choices, tech platforms versus last-mile assembly etc.
  • You are developing expertise both in the larger Nestlé Global product portfolio and in the Nespresso specific ones
  • You grow your expertise and the organization’s knowledge on ERP, OMS, and WMS through crystal-clear documentation and accessible knowledge bases.
  • You will work with the end-to-end in mind in a real product-oriented mindset.
  • You will connect and drive people to find common ground and the best solutions; for example Delivery Services or Order Tracking are topics that sit across multiple areas of responsibility (eCommerce, Retail, Supply Chain, etc...), and your unique expertise will help drive to decisions
  • You will balance your days between long term, strategic topics and short term challenges and initiatives. 
  • You will deep dive in operational, security and technical topics to unblock situations, and to provide context and assistance
  • You will challenge the existing tech landscape and propose alternatives, evolutions or long term changes
  • You will refine the Nespresso strategy in terms of Supply Chain technologies evolution in cooperation with the Nespresso Enterprise Architecture

What will make you successful

  • Modelling techniques (UML or others)
  • Solid experience in APIs and webServices (SOAP/ REST / XML)
  • Specifics of the Supply Chain World (EDI / AS2)
  • Demand and Supply chain processes and concepts
  • Ability to read code and understand what an application does from that angle
  • Gathering individual knowledge to provide an End-to-End view of a situation
  • A great analytical mindset
  • Able to influence without authority : you will have to compose with a diverse and complex organization. Your expertise, insights, assertiveness and seniority will be key!
