The role 
To build up our Global Tech Hub in Barcelona, we are looking for a Reporting and Data to be part of our Digital Manufacturing & Analytics Design.

  • Reporting to the Digital Manufacturing & Analytics (DMA) Program manager you will be contributing to the DMA solutions delivered to Nestlé factories. 

  • As a member of the global Design & Build team for DMA you will be responsible for designing, developing, coordinating world-class technology solutions to support Nestlé’s factories.  

  • You will provide particular expertise in the area of PowerBi, Data Flows, SQL, Cloud Solutions (Azure, Snowflake, etc.). You will provide technical expertise in these areas and be responsible for the architecture and design of solutions under your responsibility.  This data will be in the context of manufacturing (performance, quality, energy, process modules, etc.).

  • You will build and maintain relationships with the various stakeholders such as Regional teams responsible for deployment; development & QA teams; 3rd party vendors as well as the technical community within Nestlé. 

  • You will develop a clear understanding of the DMA product group strategy and work with teams to ensure deliver of high-quality services.  

  

What you'll do 

  • Contribute to strategy on DMA Reports, Database Architecture, Above Cloud, etc. solutions.   

  • Responsible for design and delivery of reporting and data solutions in the DMA space. Activities include requirements specification, testing and quality assurance, development of training material and documentation. Ensure that solutions are secure and compliant and meet the needs of the business.  

  • Guidance on on complex design or technical issues faced by the factories in the area of reporting.  

  • Design and deliver of reports using PowerBi and/or Snowflake.  

  • Work with Development, QA and Support teams in your area so that the different perspectives of project delivery are taken into account for delivery and operations.  

  • Provide technical expertise on SQL / databases (tuning, performance improvement). 

  • Run small-scale projects (managed work activities) for the deployment of functionalities.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience. 

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, preferably working in a DevOps environment. 

  • Demonstrated experience in databases, reporting and analytics. Deep technical knowledge of PowerBi and SQL. Knowledge of Azure and/or Snowflake a plus.  

  • Experience explaining technical concepts and technologies. 

  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English. 

  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams. 

  • Experience in service management principles and execution.
