Business Analyst - Digital Manufacturing

 

 

Position Summary

Are you passionate about digital manufacturing and future technologies in a challenging business/manufacturing environment? This role will work with teams across the globe and provide expertise and guidance on the best ways to utilize digital manufacturing applications and its data for reporting and visualization.  This role will focus on the following activities:
  • Provides formal and in-formal end-user training and support
  • Data Benchmarking and Visualization across factories/markets/categories
  • Configures and maintains applications 
  • Analyzes problems and issues reported by users and determines the best method for issue resolution. 
  • Validates new releases and program fixes for system applications, software, and hardware for testing and evaluation

A day in the life of...

  • Works with the Digital Manufacturing team collaboratively
  • Writes and maintains test scripts
  • Performs testing
  • Configuration of digital manufacturing applications
  • Documentation of best practices 
  • Subject matter expert for digital manufacturing applications
  • Support of applications within the digital manufacturing area: such as DMO, Poka, Connect, etc.
  • Troubleshooting and analysis
  • Validates development provided by vendors(Agile Methodology)
  • Provides appropriate training to the Regions and System Integrators

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in a combination of Manufacturing IT, Engineering, and/or Automation. 
  • Experience with PowerBI and reporting
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams 
  • Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote) 
  • Proven ability to work in Agile project teams
