We are looking for an IS/IT Business Analyst AMM ERP (Planned Maintenance Module in SAP and complimentary applications in PM and SHE area) to join a global Barcelona IT team with a multi-disciplinary and multi-category business context

The role  

 

In this position, you will establish and maintain a connection between IS/IT & business Consumers and Customers. As part of the Product Group Team, you will ensure a deep understanding of opportunities and issues facing business functions and advises on the best IT solutions. Furthermore, you will translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements and will play a key role within the Product Group Team to specify, test and deploy those IS/IT solutions. 

 

 

What you’ll do  

 

  • Project Management: Gather functional requirements, write functional specifications, and coordinate with onshore/offshore developers and vendors for projects related to SAP-based solutions (PM Module) and other applications in Planned Maintenance and SHE area. 
  • System Improvement: Identify, build, test, and implement changes to current systems to ensure compliance, improve performance, and usability. Drive root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for continuous improvement. 
  • Support and Training: Act as the third level of support for AMM-PM and complimentary applications, analyzing and resolving incidents. Support onboarding and training of new team members. Oversee the delivery of training to end-users and support teams. 
  • Strategy and Documentation: Support the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the product. Ensure training materials for the Product Group area are documented. Consult with product managers to define the minimum viable product (MVP) and propose alternative solutions. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coach, motivate, and direct staff from various organizations (business and IS/IT) to understand business needs and find solutions that align with customer objectives and IS/IT strategy. Partner with business stakeholders, BRM, and Product Group Manager to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into IS/IT requirements.

Minimum qualifications:  

 

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, sciences, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent. Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a relevant functional area. 
  • Business Understanding: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into application requirements. Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies. Extensive business experience in a relevant function is beneficial. 
  • Project Implementation: Extensive project implementation experience, with a track record of successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). 
  • Communication and Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with additional languages as a plus. Extensive experience with effective communication at different levels in an organization. 
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards. Expertise in configuration, implementation of best practices, and knowledge of the latest functionalities available. Understanding of modeling techniques. 
  • Additionally, above-average organization and prioritization skills are required, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and stakeholders simultaneously. The ability to work and collaborate in a virtual team with people across countries and different cultures and time zones is essential. 

 

Bonus Points If You: 

 

Knowledge of Nestlé IT support model (tickets, offshores, RM, IM, Change, etc.) is a plus 

Knowledge of Nestlé IT SAP governance and maintenance model is a plus
