Position Summary

Are you passionate about applications used in the Quality Management environment and exciting new technologies being used in this dynamic environment?
As a Business Analyst you will serve as a liaison between the Quality Management Product Group and its business stakeholders.
As a result of those liaisons, you will bring deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing quality operations, business functions and Nestlé consumers and advise on the best solutions for supporting Quality in Nestlé. You will further translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into product requirements, and play a key role within the product team to specify, test and deploy those as Quality Management IS/IT solutions. 
 

A day in the life of...

•    Partner with business and other stakeholders to build strong relationships in order to elicit, analyse, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into requirements for the Quality Management IT product portfolio.
•    Translate business requirements into user stories and product features while challenging stakeholders’ demands to maintain focus on Quality Management IT products added value.
•    Design business scenarios and use cases for the product mix, including product introduction, specification and the change management required to maximize its adoption/value.
•    Ensures that the Product/Product Group Managers and Business Relationship Manager are supported in the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the product. 
•    Support IS/IT Project Managers to plan and deliver the go-to-market launch strategies.
•    Manage functional and technical projects and coordinate new solutions deployment
•    Ensure maximum level of standardization, reutilization and leverage among all Quality Management IS/IT solutions.
•    Create knowledge documents and deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams.
•    Act as the third level of support for QM solutions, analysing and resolving incidents. Drive root cause analysis and focus on continuous improvement 
•    Identify, build, test and implement changes to current systems with the objective to ensure compliance, improve performance and/or usability. 
•    Coordinate onshore and offshore service providers to ensure realization of deliverables
•    Manage ongoing release updates and support the maintenance of IT solutions.
•    Interact with other IT departments to ensure effective support. Identify and escalate issues and risks when required
•    Track key success factors & best practices from launched Quality Management initiatives. Make sure both are fully revisited at the beginning of any new project.
•    Identify security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and ensure they are considered in the solution design.
•    Communicate with and influence business leaders to make sound business decisions and manage risks.
 

What will make you successful

•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, or Quality Management / Food Safety related studies
•    3+ years of relevant work experience in IT or Quality Management disciplines and business analysis
•    Understanding of Quality business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements
•    Practical experience in Product Management and Product Development
•    Hands-on experience scoping, managing and controlling medium complex projects, to apply of Agile Methodologies and to management of IT solution delivery at scale
•    Good understanding of those IT Platforms used to build custom QM applications like Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, SharePoint, Power BI and Snowflake as well as experience to create, configure and exchange Master and Transactional QM related SAP data objects (Material, Specification, Batch, Inspection Plan, Inspection Lots, Samples, Analytical Results)
•    Proven ability to apply problem solving and root cause analysis methodologies on expert level
•    Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies
•    Strategic and tactical thinking 
•    Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve goals.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and at all levels within the organization
•    Experience in working with cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way
