To strengthen our Global Globe R&D, Business Solutions and IS/IT Innovation group, we are looking for a Business Analyst to complete our Consumer Internet of Things team.

 

In this position, you will serve as a liaison between the IS/IT Consumer Internet of Things (IoT) Stakeholders (Nestlé Brand managers, Marketing & Sales, HR, Legal, Supply Chain and other business streams) and End User. As part of the Consumer IoT Product Team, you bring deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing Nestlé brands and business functions and advises on the best solutions for the development of Consumer IoT products. You further translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements, and plays a key role within the product team to specify, test and deploy those as IS/IT solutions.

Your mission will be to support the delivery of Consumer Internet of Things business capabilities, allowing the development and integration of IoT devices with Nestlé’s IoT platform and services. This will give you a unique opportunity to gain a global perspective on this paradigm shift in customer service that will help you to educate, coach and share knowledge on how to apply this technology across Nestlé.

A day in the life of...
  • Partner with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT requirements
  • Translating the business requirements into product features while challenging stakeholders’ demands to maintain focus on Consumer IoT products added value
  • Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications
  • Ensure maximum level of standardization and leverage among all IoT work streams
  • Document training materials for the product area
  • Deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams
  • Support IS/IT Project Manager to deliver the go-to-market launch strategies for these new Consumer IoT product initiatives 
  • Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues as part of the third level sustain
  • Design business scenarios and use cases for the product mix, including product introduction, specification and the change management required to maximize its adoption/value
  • Work with IS/IT Product Managers to define Consumer IoT minimum viable products (MVP) and roadmap that satisfies the business need
  • Track key success factors & best practices from launched Consumer IoT initiatives. Make sure both are fully revisited at the beginning of any new project
  • Work together with the development solution architect in identifying innovation opportunities and helping implement solutions including new features, integration with other systems or adoption of new technologies
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation
  • Responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and ensure they are considered in the solution design
  • Develop, motivate and direct staff belonging to various organizations (business and IS/IT) to understand the business needs and find the best solution that will both align with the customer objectives
  • Communicate with and influence business leaders to make sound business decisions and manage risks 
  • Define and communicate the solution Value Proposition and offering/products
What will make you successful
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area, Product Development, Maketing & Sales, Business Analyst/Solution Specialist on B2C/B2E products,
  • Project management experience, ability to manage multiple task and define priorities
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using Design Thinking methodology
  • Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements
  • Understanding and experience within the Internet of Things areas, preferably in the Consumer space or Consumer Electronics spaces.
  • Technology knowledge beneficial to the job profile: AWS, Azure services, embedded systems, Data Analysis
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
