Main purpose of the Position

As part of the team, the Lead Analyst will

- Manage a group of Analysts focused on data & insights topics
- Perform analyst tasks during 70% of the time (according to Analyst role described in JSP), especially during peaks of work or occasional lack of resources
- Build insights and recommendations based on customer centric activities and share with Headquarters and Markets
- Have a good understanding of local markets
- Mantain good relationship with CRM managers in markets, HQ and relevant stakeholders
- Plan and prioritize team tasks, according to Markets' demands and alignment with CRM HQ
- Promote collaboration spirit and results sharing among analysts
- Identify potential improvements and commonalities in procedures and ways of working, with the objective to avoid duplication and work in an optimized way. Plan automatisation of analysis when relevant
- Track service level agreements and performance KPIs: time to deliver, quality of delivery...
- Manage newcomers onboarding and training. Ensure timely handover of analysts changing role

A day in the life of...

  • Maintain and develop regular and ad-hoc dashboards, reports and analysis according to business needs                                
  • Data quality checks. Delivers data lists for surveys, campaign targeting…  in a timely manner                                
  • Applies CRM HQ methodologies and definitions                                
  • Provides continuous support to the markets on the tools developed by the team                                
  • Contributes to CRM HQ capabilities: support documentation, guidelines, templates, training of newcomers                                
  • Respects SLA's, projects pipelines and agreed delivery timings                                
  • Acts as primary spokesperson towards HQ and markets for the team's related activities                                
  • Interacts with other functions in order to ensure access to databases and tools for the team                                
  • Plans project pipeline and organises the team accoringly                                
  • Builds a strong team: attracts and retains talent, developes effectiveness of employees, regular coaching        

What Will Make You Successful?

Education:
Degree in Mathematics or Statistics
Experience:
- Min. 5 years hands-on experience in Data analytics / Business analytics / CRM direct marketing / Reporting, including 2-3 years experience in data mining related activities
- Experience in reporting, retention activities, statistical modeling, digital analytics are strong assets
- Able to query databases and other information sources independently
- Excellent knowledge of at least one reporting / data mining tool: SQL, SAS, SPSS, IBM Modeler, SAP Business Objects, Power BI,...
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to prioritize and manage several projects at the same time
- International exposure or experience in working with multicultural teams is an advantage
- People management experience is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- This position might involve traveling
