The role
Build production plans respecting the agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost.
To manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that takes into account the distribution costs.
What you’ll do
- Establishes an 18 month production plan for the factories within the scope of responsibility (including sub/contracting and/or co-manufacturing where relevant) ensuring continuous product availability in all Receiving locations that respects capacity defined (available capacity).
- Ensure supply plan is the required one according to the defined stock levels. Analyze and evaluate & challenge the supply plan and net despatch requirements to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints.
- Align with factory about the raw/pack demand in relationship with Annual Volume Commitment timing for procurement
- Anticipate & minimize potential Out Of Stock situations challenging the factories/origins and communicating effectively to the Generating Demand teams.
- Controls salvage/Wastage of the portfolio in scope taking the possible supply planning actions to reduce them. Analyses root causes when repetitive issues & propose to the business potential solutions. Track new launches and coordinate with receiver markets demand review. Deep dive receiver market assumptions about new launches forecast.
Minimum qualifications
- University Degree in BA, Economics, Engineering or other topics relevant to the position.
- Advance English and Spanish level.
- Two or more years of relevant operational experience at market/business level , in at least one of the following areas:
- Factory Planning
- Supply Planning (import/export/local factories)
- Experience in the following processes would be highly beneficial:
- Product Life Cycle process
- Factory Master Data Management
- Master Data Management
