We are looking for a SAP Cyber Security Senior Specialist to join our IT Security & Compliance stream in Barcelona

The Role:
In this position, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the cyber resilience of our entire SAP landscape through effective threat detection and response efforts.
You will leverage your deep understanding of SAP-specific threats and vulnerabilities to provide actionable recommendations that strengthen our security posture. As a SAP SOC Specialist, you will manage SAP-related security incidents, ensuring they are accurately identified, analyzed, communicated, addressed, investigated, and reported.
Additionally, you will lead the definition and implementation of threat detection use cases and scenarios to counter new threats and enhance the SOC’s security monitoring and alerting capabilities.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and implement operational processes, identify threats and security gaps, and work with the Security Community of Practice to devise measures that protect company information. You will also contribute to continuous improvement by providing insights and feedback to other roles/functions based on lessons learned.
What You’ll Do:
As a SAP Cyber Security Senior Specialist, you will:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive threat detection strategies for SAP systems.
- Perform technical cybersecurity investigations on SAP related security incidents, root cause analysis, recommend and mitigate the effects caused by an incident.
- Provide technical incident response guidance to the L1 and L2 incident response analysts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Design and implement effective incident response plans.
- Stay current with emerging SAP security threats and best practices.
- Identify best practices and continuously improve technical standards, processes, procedures and guidelines to enable proper cyber risk mitigation.
- Keep key business stakeholders updated / engaged on key security incidents and related developments.

What Will Make You a Great Fit:
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or another similar relevant degree.
- 3+ years of proven experience in SAP cyber security or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SAP systems and their security requirements.
- In-depth understanding of: threat based IS/IT security, latest security technologies and concepts, threat management, incident and vulnerability handling.
- Experience with SAP specific security monitoring solutions (e.g. SAP ETD, Security Bridge, Onapsis) and security incident orchestrations and/or automation platforms (incl. Python programming skills) is desirable.
- Effective communication skills at different levels of organization and in English.
- Ability to present information to a wide variety of internal stakeholders, including senior level leadership.
- Professional experience working with sensitive or confidential information in a work environment.
- Relevant technical and industry certifications are a plus (e.g. CISSP, GCIH, OSCP, CEH).
