We are currently looking for a Expert Data Steward - (D2D) Design to Delivery in order to complete our IT Master Data Governance department.

The role
Under the guidance of the Data Governance Lead for Marketing and Sales data, you will be responsible for the governance of the data model in the Design to Delivery (D2D) solutions that power the development and reuse of all brand identity, packaging and related label info and assets, ensuring data alignment across functions and the different connected systems. You will collaborate with relevant Functions to set ways of working and governance for the collection, creation, and reuse of trusted data within the D2D processes, and ensure that data created within the D2D ecosystem of tools can be shared for printing final packaging, external digital publication, reuse in other Marketing & Sales downstream activities, and used for different types of internal reporting and analytics. A new global system solution is under deployment across geographies and business categories, and strong governance of the data model is instrumental to meet compliance, quality, and efficiency goals.
What you’ll do
As the Senior Data Steward for Design to Delivery (D2D) you will:
- Collaborate with multiple corporate functional business owners, especially from Marketing, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs, geographical zone data leaders, IT Solution teams, and NBS shared services. Ensure our data is managed as enterprise assets, maintained, and utilized effectively to support business objectives.
- Contribute to or drive projects to optimize (not execute) the processes to collect data in D2D projects and Label Specifications, for integrated usage across solutions. Contribute to training material, including Data Management aspects.
- Manage the D2D Data model; review, define, and implement data standards, policies, best practices, and roles & responsibilities related to master data management. Define business rules for automation where possible.
- Define and support deployment of new D2D data-related services in Nestlé Business Shared Service centers and/or leverage Design Services team or roles within Nestlé Integrated Business Services supporting data quality and consistency.
- Define and monitor data quality in the D2D & Label Info solutions and orchestrate global awareness and improvement campaigns to ensure accuracy and consistency across the Nestlé Group.
- Define and develop guidance in support of the transition to GS1 2D barcode for packaging-related data aspects, and drive development of data-related guidance for GS1 2D barcode usage on pack and via digital experiences.
- Represent Nestlé in external workgroups managed by industry-wide organizations, e.g., GS1, CDQ (Corporate Data Quality).

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in information systems, industrial engineering, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a diverse role with increasing leadership responsibility in Marketing or Marketing Data Management/Governance (expertise area including eContent, eCommerce, Product Information Management systems etc.).
- Strong and effective communication skills and ability to leverage them at different levels in the organization and in English.
- Ability to influence peers and subordinates in global and virtual environments with aim to adjust behaviors and adopt data governance policies.
- Strong previous experience with data analysis tools to identify opportunities/issues in our data (Advanced excel, Power BI etc.).
Bonus Points if you:
- Have a strong understanding of Data Governance practices (Cataloging, Quality, Definition, Curation, GS1 standards etc.).
- Understand various software used in the Data Domain (e.g. Packaging workflows, Product Information Management).
