Requirements

• An internship agreement from your University or Business School
• Spanish nationality or NIE (identification number for foreigners) and NASS (Spanish Social Security affiliation number) is required
• Residence: temporary or permanent in Barcelona
• Fluent in English.

Terms & Conditions:

• Scholarship 960€ per month
• Grant canteen
• Access to Nestlé Market (10% to 50% off)
• Insurance with Zurich during the internship

Period of internship:

• 6 months internship starting in March 2022
• Possibility of a 6 months extension
• Full time (Monday to Friday from 9 to 6pm)

A day in the life of...

•    Work closely with Management Accounting team to implement solutions around Financial Planning and Advanced Analytics projects
•    Support the Business Analysts mainly on these tasks:

o    Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.
o    Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business.
o    Solving issues around: Budgeting and forecasting process, Variance analysis, Pricing and Reporting.
o    Creation of training material like e-learning videos, PowerPoints presentation with modern tools and running of training sessions

o    Design Proof of Concept around new technologies as analytic solutions and interfaces with cloud solutions.
 

What will make you successful

•    Academic Background Computer Science or Information systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics and/or finance
•    Understanding of and Interest in the world of Corporate Analytics
•    Understanding around FP&A business area: P&L, COGS, Procurement, HR.
•    Experience or interest in, digital finance analytics, big data and data interfaces, planning solution, predictive analytics and machine learning based on big data, chatbots, etc.
•    Knowledge on Agile and Scrum methodologies
•    A working understanding of cloud computing and data visualization
•    Understanding of SQL databases and Multi-dimensional databases (OLAP) 
•    Languages: MS SQL server, T-SQL, PL/SQ, .NET, VBA, MDX, Epbcs, APEX.
•    Focus and attention to detail, strong analytical mind with proven problem-solving abilities
