In order to complete our Technical & Production Product Group, we are looking for a Business Analyst Packaging Sustainability. In our organisation, your title would be Business Analyst Packaging Environmental Sustainability.

Position Summary

In this position thanks to your strong background in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) e.g. Citeo, Green Dot etc. and/or SAP’s Recycling Administration (REA) solution (or similar), will establish and maintain a connection between IT and and Packaging Environmental Sustainability (PES) business's consumers and customers. As part of the Product Group Team, you will ensure a deep understanding of opportunities and issues facing business functions and advise on the best IT solutions. Furthermore, you will translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IT product requirements and will play a key role within the Product Group Team to specify, test and deploy those IT solutions. 

A day in the life

· Gather and evaluate functional requirements, write functional specifications, coordinate onshore and offshore developers, test scenarios and build prototypes for SAP based (or similar) Packaging Environmental Sustainability (PES) products

· Manage ongoing release updates and support the maintenance of products

· Identify, build, test and implement changes to current systems with the objective to ensure compliance, improve performance and/or usability

· Act as the 3rd level of support for Packaging Environmental Sustainability (PES) products, analysing and resolving incidents. Drive root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes with focus on continuous improvement

· Support the on-boarding and training of new team members

· Ensure that the Product/Product Group Managers and Business Relationship Manager (BRM) are supported in the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the product

· Secure program development, logic, process flows and specifications are analyzed, documented and tested

· Ensure the training materials for the Product Group area are documented and oversee the delivery of training to the end users, deployment and support team

· Consult with product manager to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business's need 

· Coach, motivate and direct staff belonging to various organizations (business and IT) to understand the business needs and find the best solution that will both align with the customer objectives and the IT strategy

· Partner with business and IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IT requirements

· Partner with the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) and Product Group Manager to facilitate both strategy and innovation planning with business stakeholders

· Consult with Product Group teams and proposes alternative solutions.

What will make you successful?

· Bachelor degree in business, Information Systems, Sciences or Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent), further education might be an asset

· Minimum of 4 years’ experience in implementing Packaging Environmental Sustainability (PES) products or solutions such as: SAP Recycling Environment Administration, Citeo (formerly Ecofolio and Eco-Emballages)

· Knowledge of the calculation of extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme fees Reputational crisis management and brand value retention

· Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) expertise with experience of working with companies such as Citeo (formerly Ecofolio and Eco-Emballages), Green Dot or similar

· Expertise in configuration, implementation of best practices and knowledge of the latest

functionalities available (i.e. Fiori, Personas etc.)

· Knowledge of MS Power-BI and SAP BO reporting tools would be a plus

· Usage of MS Project and MS Office tools

· Extensive business experience in a relevant function and project management experience would be beneficial

· Strong experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology

· Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and

architecture standards

· Understanding of modeling techniques and business processes with the ability to translate it into application requirements

· Experience of effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English

· Experience in a global environment and with virtual teams.
