To strengthen our IT Barcelona HUB, we are looking for a Solution Architect to complete our Business Process Automation Department. This position will be part of the Global Business Process  Automation team, which supports Nestlé markets and shared service centres to automate manual repetitive activities .

Position Summary

In this position, you will be accountable for supporting proactively and holistically Enterprise Architecture (EA) activities within the Product Groups and Platforms that fit within the overall EA and meet the product group strategy. As a Solutions Architect, you will provide the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of a product or a set of products within a product group. You will work closely with DevOps / development teams and suppliers to secure that the value planned will be delivered in the most optimal way and you will be accountable for supervising the design as well as the integration execution within the scope, owning the solution architecture specification.

Key responsibilities

· Manage and develop the architecture for a set of products and platforms

· Deliver the architectural design for products and inputs to the roadmap by utilizing knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience in order to translate a business need into a solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution

· Lead the implementation and integration of technical architecture across a product group based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements

· Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the solution architecture

· Define and document the guidelines, standards and solution architecture to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision

· Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring product architecture assurance and compliance

· Engage with Technical Leads, Business Analyst, Product Managers and EA within (and across) the product groups to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture

Required Profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in intelligent / robotic process automation technologies. Plus additional experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, database management or operations
• Knowledge and a good level of expertise in integrating multiple technologies to automate end- to- end business processes, including: Chatbot technology, AI, OCR, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, K2, Azure, code review solutions and versioning control
. Knowledge on process design
• Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
• Ability to understand and communicate the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Excellent understanding of application development methodologies & infrastructure
• Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements
• Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
• Experiences working in a global environment, with virtual teams and outsourced entities
• Curious about new technology, willingness to experiment
• Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organization
