Senior Project Manager
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our IT Marketing sales and eCommerce (MSE) stream in Barcelona

The Role:
As Senior Project Manager in MSE, you will be part of the Operations Team and your focus will be the deployment of digital products worldwide following the Digital strategy of Nestlé. In some cases you will also participate in the Design and Build phase of these products.
You will manage the deployment and delivery of digital products based on the scope and duration, and ensure they deliver expected value to Nestle businesses on time, quality, scope and budget.
You will help the global functions and strategic business units build the business case to secure budget and structure the project. You will also build the project charter, the cost and the resource plans. You will execute the project, monitor and control it, and finally close it; all while adhering to Project and Portfolio Management methodologies established at Nestlé.
You will control the development progress versus project plan; identify and analyze issues, and devise plans to minimize risks. You will send timely status reports to guarantee transparency and lead Streeting committees to facilitate communication and decision making to the project sponsor.
You will lead the project teams and be the person that project resources report directly to for the execution of the project tasks they are allocated. You will be the main counterpart for the global business and the markets stakeholders during all phases of the project. You will coordinate and work closely with the teams (internal or external) allocated to the project (on-shore, off-shore). For this reason, it’s important to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and communicate effectively.
A day in the life of:
- Understand and adhere to the Portfolio Governance and financial requirements
- Define the project in an adequate project charter to align on scope, timeline, quality, budget and acceptance criteria with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain the overall project plan
- Manage roles and responsibilities and establish the governance and communication plans, ensuring adequate communication to identified stakeholders
- Manage the day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams and ensure the adherence to the project plan
- Manage the stakeholder engagement through development and maintenance of strong working relationships with all key stakeholders including: Business sponsors, Product Managers, Local IT teams and vendors
- Define and ensure strong Project Governance and Change Management
- Identify risks and propose mitigating actions; Raise and resolve project issues
- Review the receival of actuals (timesheets and invoices) on a monthly basis
- Produce timely, detailed summaries and high-level reports, reporting on the status of all projects KPIs
- Manage Project changes effectively: Works to control change, adjusts the budget, timeline, and project scope to accommodates approved changes
- Close the project ensuring appropriate evaluation with the business partner and leveraging of lessons learned
- Track project/program benefit realization based on business case
What Will Make You a Great Fit:
- Excellent communication skills in English are a MUST: assertiveness, confidence and empathy are key skills the ideal candidate must possess. You should be able to communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical professionals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, digital Marketing, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4 to 8 years of experience as Project Manager of software development projects
- You are familiar with PMP, PRINCE2, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and/or other industry standard methodologies or frameworks.
- You have experience with Atlassian PM Tools (Jira, Confluence etc.) as well as standard MS Tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Knowledge and proven experience in the following digital areas: sales solutions, 3rd party retailers, eCommerce, IoT solutions, content management systems…
- You have strategic thinking and business acumen.
- You are experienced in stakeholder management as well as in conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience in managing change/transitions and change impacts. Operating in a matrix organization and development of influencing skills
- Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual team.
- Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals.
- Ability to lead and create an environment that motivates individuals to work collaboratively as ONE IT team.
