We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to be part of our Food Safety product in R&D IT

The role:   
R&D Information Technology (IT) is the stream in Nestlé IT in charge of powering the R&D function with IT capabilities to drive company growth through breakthrough research that can be translated quickly into products and services. 

Digital technologies are triggering a crucial, comprehensive transformation of R&D organizations, and Nestlé is no exception. It is not only about adopting digital tools, but is a fundamental shift in the operating model for R&D. For this reason, Nestlé R&D has developed a strategy to leverage digital to accelerate time to value, protect the core and unlock new opportunities, for example, by leveraging consumer insights to drive innovation and renovation. Nestlé R&D operates in 23 locations, which use a combination of above-market (global), market and site-specific IT capabilities. 

As an IT Business Analyst for Food Safety in R&D IT, you will create a deep understanding of opportunities and issues to deliver on Nestlé’s ambition to be consumers' trusted partner. You will translate R&D needs into functional requirements, as well as liaise with technical experts to advise on best solutions. Reporting to the R&D IT Quality & Knowledge Product Group Manager, you will work closely with the R&D IT Food Safety Product Manager and product owners and a number of R&D IT stakeholders to co-create, evolve and run impactful digital capabilities. 

What you’ll do 

·       Together with the product owner create a deep understanding of opportunities and issues facing the business function and advise on the best solutions. This involves translating business strategies, opportunities, threats, and needs into IT product requirements in the food safety domain

·       Partner with business and IT teams to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points, or opportunities into IT requirements. This includes working with business partners to conduct design, solutioning sessions, and MVP testing throughout the lifecycle from business demand to value delivery

·       Specifying, testing, and deploying requirements into IT solutions. Play a key role in designing business scenarios and use cases for the product mix to maximize its adoption and value

·       Delivering training to end users, deployment, and support teams

Qualifications
You are comfortable with most of the below points: 

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product. 

·       At least 2 years' experience in IT.

·       Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·       Strong problem solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.

·       Identify unique approaches to deal with new or ambiguous situations.

·       Natural curiosity and desire of learning

·       Fluent in English

Bonus Points if you have : 

Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as Agile software development, rapid prototyping, and DevOps) 

·       Experience in research or food techs

·       Experience with data management and analytics, AI or cloud solutions at scale.
