We are looking for a IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain Demand Planning to be part of our IT Supply Chain Demand and Supply Planning team:

The role:

Under the “Connected Planning @Nestle” initiative, we are currently reviewing our standard processes and tools globally moving towards advanced planning with OMP solutions. Considering this and to strengthen our Global Tech Hub in Barcelona, we are looking for an IT Business Analyst for Supply Chain – Demand Planning to complete our IT Supply Chain Department.

In this position, you will serve as a liaison between the IS/IT & Business Customers and Consumers. As part of the Product Team, you bring deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing your business function and advises on the best solutions. You further translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements, and play a key role within the product team to specify, test and deploy those as IS/IT solutions.

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Support the Product Manager and Business Relationship Manager in the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the product.

  • Partner with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyse, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT requirements plus test, document and deliver solutions incl. training to the end users, deployment and support teams.

  • Responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and ensure they are considered in the solution design.

  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation plus support the analysis and resolution of issues as part of the third level sustain.

  • Work with business partners to conduct paper-based design, solution sessions, and MVP taste-testing all along the life cycle from business demand to value delivery.

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP APO Demand Planning or any other planning tool, and basics in SAP ERP and SAP BW.
  • Understanding of business processes in area of “Demand & Supply Planning” and ability to translate them into application requirements.
  • Good understanding of the IT Landscape, Master and transactional data needed for Demand Planning.

        

Bonus Points if you: 

  • Knowledge of the OMP Unison Planning solution.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and data analytics with tools like SAS, Azure ML, Power BI, etc.
  • Technical skill sets in APO and/or OMP (debugging and configuration).
