Position Summary

In order to complete our Security & Compliance Department, we are currently looking for an IT Product/Project Portfolio Specialist.

In this position and under the guidance and supervision of the IT Security & Compliance Product Stream Operations Manager you will provide a consolidated view of the Security & Compliance product/project portfolio, its investments, and engagements with external vendors. This will allow you to support IT Security & Compliance Management and Product/Project Managers in optimizing their products and suppliers, ensuring that data is accurate and compliant with governance rules, performing maintenance routines and corrective action on deviations wherever appropriate. You will be in a position to provide advice and recommendations by analyzing multiple views of the Product/Project portfolio data down to product/project/vendor level. You will have the opportunity to streamline and improve the management and administration of processes related to the product/project/vendor portfolios. You will represent the Security & Compliance product stream in various forums and meetings within the Information Technology organization.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure portfolio management data and processes adhere to governance set out by Nestlé, IT and Security & Compliance, performing data and process quality audits on a regular basis and participating in cross-functional data cleansing activities as needed
  • Lead reviews of any significant product/project/vendor portfolio elements on a periodic basis and on-demand if they are challenged
  • Provide visibility on trends and forecasts versus plans and provide recommendations as to whether elements should continue as-is, be significantly changed, placed on hold or discontinued
  • Provide support to product/project managers on portfolio management tools, reports and vendor administration, ensuring functional and technical issues are documented and followed up
  • Design, implement and maintain the required portfolio management capability, including artifacts, awareness, process and reporting material
  • Facilitate and execute processes with vendors in coordination with Procurement and IT partner delivery teams, developing reports and tools that support decision making by IT management and product/project managers
  • Streamline and simplify the processes of vendor onboarding, management and administration
  • Champion IT Security & Compliance product/project portfolio goals and objectives, IT-wide and if needed enterprise-wide
  • Apply best practices to portfolio formulation and development
  • Contribute to the IT Security & Compliance strategy.
     
Required Profile
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major IT projects and programs
  • Experience in project portfolio management
  • Experience with procurement processes
  • Advanced designer/administrator of spreadsheets (e.g. MS Excel)
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI), portfolio management tools (e.g. Service Now) and project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing "upward" among senior leadership
  • Demonstrated experience participating in strategic prioritization and complex governance initiatives
  • Knowledge and experience of project management as well as Agile ways of working
  • Ability to collaborate, inspire & drive continuous improvement
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
