The Role:
As a Solution Architect you will provide the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of a product or a set of products within a product group working closely with DevOps / development teams and suppliers to secure that the value planned will be delivered in the most optimal way according to the product strategy and the overall value for money objectives linked to the IT strategy.
You will also be accountable for supervising the design as well as the integration execution within the scope of their product / product group / platform, collaborating with the integration platform team owning the solution architecture specification.
What You’ll Do:
As a Solution Architect, you will have an impact on the following areas:
Strategy Development

Manage and develop the architecture for a broader scope of products / platforms, working closely with application architects that manage and design architecture for a single product or product group

Deliver the architectural design for products or product groups and inputs to the roadmap by utilizing knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience in order to translate a business need into a solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution

Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations
-
Define the guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision"
Integration:
-
Deliver the integration of solutions within the product / product group / platform and implements the integration strategy for cross-product group purposes

Lead the implementation and integration of technical architecture across a product group based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements
Risk management
- Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the solution architecture
Operational effectiveness and efficiency:
- Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements
- Define and documents the guidelines, standards and solution architecture to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision
- Design and directs the governance activities associated with ensuring product architecture assurance and compliance
Stakeholder engagement:
- Engage with Tech Leads, BAs, Product Managers and EA within (and across) the product groups to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture"

What Will Make You a Great Fit:
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Solution Architect within a large corporate environment
- 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, including MLOps and Generative AI
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
- Knowledge of and adherence to compliance standards and regulations relevant to the industry, ensuring that all IT solutions meet legal and organizational requirements
- Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
- Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organisation
- Experiences working in a global environment and with virtual teams
- Familiar with advanced cloud-based data solutions and scalable machine learning frameworks (Databricks, AzureML, AWS SageMaker, Snowflake Snowpark, Google Vertex)
