About IT in Nestlé
We are a team of IT professionals from many countries and diverse backgrounds, each with unique missions and challenges in the biggest health, nutrition and wellness company of the world. We innovate every day through forward-looking technologies to create opportunities for Nestlé’s digital challenges with our consumers, customers and at the workplace. We collaborate with our business partners around the world to deliver standardized, integrated technology products and services to create tangible business value.
In order to complete our Technical & Production Product Group, we are currently looking for a IT Vendor Delivery Management.
Already having a strong background in either Sourcing or Account Management, the IT Vendor Delivery Management will typically be responsible for creating and maintaining non-procurement related relationships with partners and with alliances within the company business ecosystem. Partnerships may be for innovation (may include start-ups, academia, clients, competitors or other manufacturers) and for specific Product Groups supporting business differentiation and mission critical priorities. You will also be responsible for negotiating non-commercial agreements to cover co-innovation and any collaboration that brings value within the enterprise strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the alliance and partnership strategy that meets the Product Groups needs
- Establish and ensure smooth operation of the collaboration ground rules, such as the protocol for formal governance meetings and procedures for decision making, project team meetings, data exchange and other kinds of interactions
- Review and support contracts and analyze financial justification for partnership
- Lead efforts to increase alignment, mutual understanding and trust between collaboration participants, including activities such as the kickoff event and periodic collaboration team events
- Produce high-quality leads through constant engagements with partners and through screening of ecosystems
- Manage contractual obligations; advising collaboration participants on how the partnership contract should be implemented; and if necessary, negotiate with the partner regarding the interpretation of the contract in the event of a difference of opinion between the two sides
- Anticipate upcoming changes in project stages or collaboration participants, managing transitions smoothly, and serving as the partnership’s memory, as well as facilitating complex discussions with the partner to map a way forward when unanticipated situations or corporate decisions in either party trigger the need for change
- Identify the important value drivers and key risks, ensuring those involved do not lose focus on strategic aspects, and lead efforts to mitigate risks and accelerate value creation
- Track progress, including coordinating the definition and reporting of the KPIs, as well as leading periodic health checks
Required Profile
- A bachelor's degree in business or other management discipline. An advanced business degree is desired.
- 7+ years of global "sourcing" experience
- 5+ years of experience establishing business alliances with external institutions/corporations
- Legal experience, with a background in alliance (technology enabled) contracts, is an advantage
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking, and financial analysis
- Experience managing SAP, ServiceNow and Excel.
Bonus points if you...
- Other functional experience, particularly in M&A, is highly desirable and beneficial
- Fluent in Spanish will be a plus.
Show us that you are an enthusiastic, curious, fast learner and team player person who is used to work with agile practices. Your ability to be flexible, self-motivated and your willingness to deliver on a deadline will set you apart among the other candidates.
