Description of Internship

 

As Cook Intern at Nestlé, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and learn from experienced professionals while contributing to the development and evolution of innovative culinary products. You will work closely with a cross-functional team and manage business stakeholders, all in a fast-paced, challenging, and global environment.

Please note that this is a non-coding position, and no development experience is required.

 

Your primary responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Recipe Development: from conceptualization, writing, testing, to final preparation. 

  • Design new recipes based on brand strategy, content plans, and current trends. 

  • Write recipes, ensuring all necessary information is included (such as measurements, servings, seasonality, cooking times, etc.). 

  • Cook the recipes, considering the final plating for photography purposes. 

  • Support the team in video recordings. This refers to participating in the entire production process, including scriptwriting and cooking. 

  • Kitchen Management. Being responsible for creating shopping lists based on weekly recipes, ensuring essential ingredients are stocked, etc..

  • Assisting in the preparation of food for photoshoots, including recipe development and styling.  

 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a hardworking, trustworthy individual with a passion for learning and a willingness to work with our team.

  • Having the necessary credits to be able to carry out the curricular or extracurricular 6 months internship in our company. We only accept the candidacies of alumni who are enrolled in degrees or masters linked to official universities.

  • Valuable knowledge of photography techniques, including lighting, composition, and color theory.

  • Understanding of marketing principles and ability to produce visually appealing content that meets brand standards.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced, global environment. 

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
