Position Summary
 

The Internet of Things (IoT) can add Business Value by helping to capture consumer and customer insights, create innovative and engaging experiences and generate new business models. The Consumer IoT Product Group defines, designs, develops and operates a single IoT platform for all Nestlé markets, brands and devices, accelerating time to market and rationalizing costs in new Consumer IoT initiatives. The Consumer IoT Platform is ready for Nestlé businesses to collect data, gather insights and integrate with their business and consumer applications. We're currently looking for a IoT Technical Product Owner.

As a IoT Technical Product Owner you will lead the definition, roadmap, development, and deployment of one or multiple components of Nestlé’s Consumer IoT Platform. You will plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of End-to-End development of Nestlé Consumer IoT platform components to ensure their delivery in accordance with agreed APIs, specifications, quality standards, security requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets. You will control the development progress versus schedule and budget; also you will identify and analyze risk management issues, and devise plans to minimize risks. You will liaise with different teams (internal and external) to ensure proper integration of your platform components within the overall Nestlé Consumer IoT ecosystem. For this reason, it’s important that you build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and communicate effectively. 

A day in the life of:

• Together with Business Analysts, Product Managers and Architects, define Consumer IoT Platform components, their roadmap, APIs and overall strategy.
• Liaise with internal customers to understand and address their needs within your platform components roadmap.
• Lead the development, testing and deployment of your platform components according to Consumer IoT development practices.
• Apply best-in-class Product Management practices, together with Consumer IoT Product Group practices, to guide your platform components throughout their whole lifecycle and maximize their reusability and applicability
• Manage and track the day-to-day activities of cross-functional platform development teams (internal or external), facilitate their coordination and ensures the adherence to the plans
• Provide appropriate technical documentation, roadmaps and strategic directions of your platform components, aligned with the overall Consumer IoT Platform strategy, processes and practices
• Participate in the definition of Consumer IoT Product Roadmaps 

What will make you successful?

• Minimum of 7 years industry experience in software delivery projects and consulting for Business-facing applications, Consumer-facing apps and/or Platform APIs
• Demonstrable track record in the delivery of IT/Digital Products such platforms,  applications and APIs on Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure or Google
• Experience in project and product management, agile methodologies and solution delivery at scale
• Strategic and tactical thinking 
• Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve goals
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in working with cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way
