Key points of the position

What will be your main objective?
Ensure the right product is available at the right moment and location by building robust production and supply plans for Gijón and imported ambient categories—balancing customer service, freshness, capacity, and cost. You will anticipate risks, optimize stock levels, and enable smooth cross functional decision-making across the supply network.

What will be your main responsibilities?

Establish an 18month production plan for the Gijon factory. - month production plan
-
Define and manage Committed Capacity, including coordination on plant shutdowns, labor planning, investments, and continuous improvement opportunities.

Ensure an optimal supply plan, challenging assumptions and analysing stock cover, dispatch requirements, and supply constraints to secure customer service at optimal cost.

Anticipate and mitigate OutofStock risks, collaborating closely with factories, Demand Planners, and export receiving markets to secure sustainable supply.

Control waste and salvage, perform root cause analysis, support new launches, and ensure alignment of assumptions with receiving markets.
Mandatory Requirements

University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or other topics relevant to the position.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, including at least 2 years of operational experience at market/business level in at least one of the following:

Factory Planning (preferred)
-
Supply Planning (import/export/local factories)

Demand Planning
-
- Spanish and English mandatory (professional working proficiency).

Strong capability to present, facilitate, and lead business meetings with market teams, suppliers, factories, and cross functional stakeholders.
Familiarity with…

Supply Planning processes and Intermarket Supply Planning best practices.

Production Planning, MPS, and capacity planning concepts.

Integration with Materials Requirements Planning and Demand Planning processes.
Bonus points if you also have…

Experience with Master Data Management.
