Material Master Data Specialist, Barcelona, Spain 

Permanent Position act rate 100% 

Position Summary

As technological revolutions continue to accelerate the speed of business transformation, global management of our Master Data becomes more and more critical to efficiently support our internal and external business flows. We are now looking for an experienced, ambitious  Material Master Data Specialist, extending our team in our Barcelona Hub. This position is rather Business and Enterprise driven than technical. It covers all dimensions of Material Lifecycles, from creation to discontinuation. It requires deep knowledge of multinational organizations and principles as well as global understanding of Master Data context. Nestlé knowledge is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible to define and execute the Material Lifecycle Improvement Roadmap and own related Master Data Standards 
  • Accountable for Material Data Quality (including leading global improvement initiatives) 
  • Leadership in continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Participation in Projects involving Material Lifecycle 

Material Lifecycle is affecting directly several company processes; it is instrumental for integrity, efficiency and compliance. 

Experience & Skills
  • Two or more years of experience in Data Management. 
  • Two or more years of Business experience (ideally Supply Chain and/or Finance areas). 
  • Successful experience to work in a cross-geography, cross-functional and cross-culture environment. 
  • Ideally, understanding of Nestlé businesses (Nestle local entities and businesses, Corporate Functions, E2Es and IT). 
  • Problem solving mind-set. 
  • Exposure to business processes across different functional areas. 
  • Team player, ability to keep the team energized and motivated. 
  • Strong level of spoken and written English. 
  • Previous international experience a definite plus.
