• Spanish nationality or NIE (identification number for foreigners) and NASS (Spanish Social Security affiliation number) is required
• Residence: temporary or permanent in Barcelona
• Fluent in English.

 

Terms & Conditions:


• Scholarship 720€ per month
• Grant canteen
• Access to Nestlé Market (10% to 50% off)
• Insurance with Zurich during the internship
 Location: Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona)

 

Period of internship:


• 6 months internship starting in July/early August 2022
• 30h/week (Monday to Friday)

In this context, we are looking for a local Regulatory and Scientific Affairs (RSA) assistant to join us in our Head Offices in Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona).

A day in the life of...

 

We are looking for a pet lover/pet owner to join our Market Quality & RSA team: 


•    Check the compliance of label/packaging against all relevant EU & local regulations.
•    Check, comment and approve labels/artworks.
•    Check, comment and approve e-commerce texts.
•    Check, comment and approve marketing off-pack communication (advertising, leaflets, web sites etc).
•    Coach Marketing, local translators and agencies to make correct translations.
•    Provide training for any new marketing member for labelling regulation.
•    Support Market Quality Manager on Authorities requests linked to product labelling

We are looking for a passionate pet lover/dog owner wanting to make a difference in the lives of our 4-legged friends.
We are looking for a enthusiastic graduate with a strong passion and/or experience in Food/Petfood regulatory affairs, labelling and consumer communication compliance. and eagerness to learn from industry professionals, in an international dynamic environment.

 

The ideal candidate would be eager to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, to master attention to detail and respecting timelines, with a high command of the English language (written and verbal), who enjoys learning new things every day, is proactive, innovative and always willing to help and assist where it is required. 

Also, high level in Spanish is required.

Important requirements about the profile

 

•    University degree in science (food technology, food engineering or veterinary preferably), chemistry, microbiology, biotechnology or related field.
•    Good PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills
•    Great communication skills 
•    Strong organizational skills – like to plan, puts attention in detail, is self-organized, sticks to deadlines.
•    Valuable experience in Food/Petfood Regulatory Affairs is a plus.
•    Valuable experience in product label compliance is a plus.

•    During your internship, you will become an integral member of the Purina Spain team of >80 professionals of all business areas. You will be provided with this highly regarded opportunity and have the advantage to be able to see and learn first-hand how the Market quality & RSA team operates embedded in the local Supply Chain department, within one of the biggest companies in the world. 

•    You will work closely with a high variety of stakeholders including Marketing department and get in contact with other European colleagues to exchange ideas and multi-market projects. You will learn about European legislation and how this is applied on consumers goods, labelling compliance, petfood industries association (ANFAAC), risk assessments on RSA topics, product communication (on pack, online, on TV commercials, etc) raw materials and novel ingredients, new upcoming packaging renovations in the sustainability journey, and much more as any project will happen simultaneously. 

•    You will be able to build valuable skills, which will benefit and contribute to your professional working career, such as effective communication at different levels inside the organization (both local and in the European forums), resilience, autonomy and flexiblility at the same time the compliance of the product is always guaranteed.

•    You will have access to trainings on digital, communication skills and more
