We are looking for a Network Architect Expert to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.

The role
The Network Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance optimization. They will ensure the network meets the business' current and future needs, staying ahead of emerging technologies, whilst adhering to industry best practices and security standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors to drive digital transformation, cloud adoption and network modernisation initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Design and Develop Network Architecture: Create blueprints for LAN, WAN, and multivendor cloud networks aligned with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into network requirements.
- Network Capacity Planning and Performance Monitoring: Conduct planning and monitoring to ensure optimal network performance and scalability.
- Implement Cloud Network Services: Manage cloud network services and infrastructure tools across multiple platforms.
- Network Documentation Maintenance: Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with system administrators, security analysts, and software developers for seamless integration of network infrastructure.
- Network Security Strategy Implementation: Establish a network security strategy utilizing firewalls, encryption, and cloud-native security tools.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Design and execute disaster recovery plans ensuring high availability and business continuity.
- Optimization of Network Performance: Enhance network performance through traffic analysis and proactive monitoring.
- Point of Contact for Network Issues: Serve as a primary contact for complex network issues, ensuring rapid resolution and thorough root cause analysis (RCA).

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture.
- Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
- Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
- Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organisation
- Experiences working in a global environment and with virtual teams
- Demonstrate experience in designing complex global multicloud network architectures
- Experiences working in a global environment and with virtual teams
