Position Summary

 

In order to complete our Office of the CIO Department, we are currently looking for a IS/IT Partner Productivity Management Specialist - Vendor Manager

 

Your responsibilities will include:
o    Secure partner delivery quality and value for money by providing transparent IS/IT partner performance metrics (in accordance to contracts and agreed governance with the partners)  
o    Ensure that service outcomes achieve business objectives (as defined in the overall sourcing strategy)
o    Assess and manage risk in the vendor ecosystem involves assessing the key categories of financial, operational, compliance, strategy and geographic risks
o    Measure, monitor and provide transparency on all aspects of IS/IT performance (product group key value indicators, IS/IT workforce, IS/IT transformation, etc.) to support IS/IT and functional management's decision making.
o    Organize and Chair in-scope partner(s) governance: manage periodic reviews, share metrics, define action plans and monitor actions.
o    Support the Product Group management to drive business value through increasing vendor productivity and managing the service risk. Provide contractual parameter input, tools, frame agreements to support contractual negotiations.
o    Feedback learnings to PDM Demand Management Specialists for inclusion into Sourcing Strategy review

Key responsibilities

 

  • Implement quality and Partner Management strategies that balance value, cost, risk and speed over time according to IS/IT technology sourcing strategy
  • Enforce the governance models, ensuring appropriate timely evaluations of new sources of services, managing the transition from one source to another
  • Assess and Deliver business value from services delivered by external service providers in coordination with internal delivery organizations.
  • Use daily best in class best practices and tools for partner relationship and partner performance as defined by the Head of IS/IT Partner Delivery Management
  • Lead in-scope partner(s) governance: manage periodic reviews, defines action plans and monitor actions
  • Provides reporting, dashboards and analytics to Product Managers, CIO and IS/IT management that will improve decisions
  • Continuously track, monitor trends, report progress against agreed baselines, communicate and provide transparency overtime on key IS/IT performance, product group value and IS/IT transformation metrics
  • Provide learning & training, coaching and leadership advise to select partner, build alliances and drive high delivery performance
  • Maintain partner risk assessments or risk registers in cooperation with risk, privacy, business continuity and security teams (where applicable)
  • Ensure people, leadership and ways of working transformation is effective and rapid according to transformation plan managed by the Office of the CIO
     
Are you a fit?

 

  • 10+ years in negotiating and managing IT contracts and relationships or experience as an IT vendor managing customer accounts and relationships
  • Respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way and good contract management and negotiation skills
  • Operating a matrix organization and development of influencing skills
  • Experience in interactions with both internal and external senior leaders and comfort in collaboration with executives and previous professional exposure to complex disputes and driving change in partner behaviors, creating a working environment where partners receive incentives to change behaviors to meet performance goals
  • Good know how of manipulating data / visual dashboard and analytics products
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns
  • Excellent communication skills (visual and verbal), and very strong interpersonal and influencing skills (externally and internally at all levels)
  • Strong collaborator and team builder with a cross-discipline team
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to complete root cause analysis and complex correlations across complex data sets
  • Enthusiastic, quick learner with proven ability to rapidly get up to speed with job knowledge
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
