We collaborate with our business partners around the world to deliver products and services in the space of data and analytics. We are currently looking for a Product Manager in the Data Governance space.
Position Snapshot

Position Summary
We are building internal capabilities to establish Data governance and take us to next level of maturity in this space.
You will help develop the enterprise data governance strategy and management function providing advice on data, data policy, process transformation, risk, and governance methodologies.
You will need to demonstrate expertise in business architecture, data quality frameworks, reference data and metadata within the CPG industry.
You will work closely with relevant teams distributed in different hubs and liaise with external partners and internal stakeholders all while adhering to established Project Management methodologies.
The role will expect you to provide knowledge, consultancy and advisory on implementing these frameworks and policies for good corporate data governance. You will be accountable for supervising specific deliverables in relation to IT development and will be expected to work closely with the relevant platform teams to ensure data governance requirements are understood and built into the technology roadmaps.
Travel activity is low, depending on the project assigned, averaging below 20%.
A day in the life of...
• Scope projects: timeline, quality, budget and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered to meet customer needs and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders
• Identify internal and external resource needs and manage assigned resources.
• Manage roles and responsibilities and establish the governance and communication plan, ensuring adequate communication to identified stakeholder
• Manage the day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams and ensure the adherence to the project plan
• Manage Supplier relationships (Support Contract management , Cultivate Relationships and Manage Risk and Issues )
• Ensure the quality of project deliverables, by ensuring the respect of Project Management best practices
• Identify risks and propose mitigating actions
• Raise and resolve project issues
• Follow-up the Key Performance Indicators for each project and consolidate Program level reporting
• Produce timely, detailed summaries and high level reports
• Manage Project changes effectively: Works to control change, adjusts the budget, timeline, and project scope to accommodates approved changes
• Close the project ensuring appropriate evaluation with the business partner and leveraging of lessons learned
What will make you successful
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information management or similar
• 10+ years of experience working in Data and analytics space either in specific domains like sales, finance, audit or in implementing governance or quality platforms like Informatica, Collibra, Alation,IBM,Microsoft etc either as an expert or as an information architect.
• Experience in Data Architecture, creation of conceptual or logical data models, data domain definition, metadata management will be preferred
• 7+ years of experience in CPG and business/industry
• 5+ years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities
• Experience in understanding the E2E IT operating model of build-sustain within a multi vendor environment is a plus.
• You have strategic thinking and business acumen
• You have a deep understanding of how data and analytics is used to power everyday business decisions
• You are experienced in stakeholder management as well as in conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment.
• You are eager to learn new things and are open to the ever changing needs of the business
• Experience in managing change/transitions and change impacts. Operating in a matrix organization and development of influencing skills
• Demonstrates personal commitment to change through actions and words
• You communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical professionals in English
• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual team.
