We are looking for a Web Applications for Analytics Product Owner to be part of our IT Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) team.

 

Position Snapshot: 

  • Location: Nestlé Global Tech Hub in Barcelona, Spain or IT Hub in Bangalore, India.
  • Type of Contract: Permanent.
  • Function and Stream: IT Analytics, Data and Integration.  
  • Type of work: Hybrid.
  • Work Language: Fluent Business English.

 

The role: 
As the Web Applications for Analytics Product Owner, you will drive the success of the Web Applications for Analytics. You will define a common web applications framework, standards, service lines and support models. Enabling our markets, businesses and application management service partners to deliver and support high quality web applications at speed and scale.

 

What you’ll do: 

Work with our IT security / network team as well as product managers, data engineers, solution architects, tech leads and developers
Implement features in the platforms (automation, infrastructure as code, blueprints) that will meet the needs of the consumers
Provide timely and accurate updates to the stakeholders
Partner with external service providers to deliver best in industry that meet the diverse needs of different personas and business units
Evolve our support organization to deliver flawless operational performance: incident management, change management & performance management

What will make you a great fit? 

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant professional background.
  • Proficiency in responsive design principles and experience with web development frameworks. 
  • Proficiency in API design and a deep understanding of API frameworks, such as RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or SOAP.
  • Experience with Azure and Amazon Cloud (AWS) and with tools like Google Analytics, New Relic, Dynatrace, or similar platforms for monitoring and analyzing web application performance and user behavior.
  • Familiarity with web servers and databases, including Apache, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, and others.
  • Strong experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization.
  • Experience working in an Agile scrum team. 
  • Bonus Points If You: - up to 3 additional requirements that can be a plus, but not required and could be teachable on the role. 
  • Experience in establishing and managing multiple large scale Web Apps with high levels of automation and significant production usage.
  • Experience with web development frameworks, such as Express.js, Django, .NET, React, Angular, and Vue.js. would be a plus. 
  • Experience with Streamlit as a front end tool.
