Position Summary
We are looking for Concurrent Planner (Production & Supply Planner) to join our Planning Service Center in Barcelona and play a key role in ensuring product availability for the assigned supply network while optimizing Total Delivered Cost (TDC).
In this role you will contribute to efficient end‑to‑end supply planning processes by orchestrating teams that impact the production and supply plan attainment, leveraging the technology available and ensuring the best practices are in place.
You will generate and review production plans, manage deployment plans, and partner with multi-functional stakeholders across markets and categories, directly influencing planning performance and business success, and shaping the supply chain of tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capacity and production planning
- Generate 18 months production plan that respects available capacity and ensures service in all markets.
- Provide visibility of Committed Capacity through scenario planning
- Scenario planning and communicating the risk of service failures to appropriate stakeholders in factory, markets and others
- Work hand in hand with the factories to align committed capacity and production requirements
- Supply Planning
- Review and confirm production requirements from the signed-off demand plan, respecting inventory targets and considering network complexity and supply constraints.
- Ensure the produced goods are reaching the market to avoid any out-of-stock risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders (i.e., Manufacturing) in the 18-months horizon.
- Provide up-to-date Master Data and system alignment with realistic production process.
- Risk Management
- Run what-if scenarios to resolve supply / demand gaps and determine feasibility of scenario solution based on business requests.
- Bring attention to potential supply issues in advance. Provide a thorough analysis of the impacts of proposed actions and associated trade-offs. Ensure actions and supply plans are realistic and achievable
- Inventory Management
- Review inventory targets and work towards reducing these targets without putting at risk the availability of products.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the fulfilment of the role’s objectives.
- Lead review meetings with the factories and markets
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Economics
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management
- Fluency in English is a must and any other European language would be value adding
- +3 years of experience in supply planning, production and demand planning or/and distribution planning, logistics role
- +3 years of experience working with an ERP system
- Exposure to working in a multinational setting, where they have gained experience navigating diverse cultural dynamics, managing cross-border operations, and coordinating with global stakeholders. They should be adaptable and culturally sensitive, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds and locations to achieve common supply chain objectives.
