The role

 

In order to complete our IT Marketing, Sales and eBusiness IT Department, we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Life Sciences. The Medical Advocacy Product Team is supporting Nestlé Purina, Nestlé Nutrition and Nestlé Health Science through the provision of CRM solution and commercial digital capabilities to provide efficient IT applications for our medical rep to engage effectively with HealthCare Professionals. 

 

On that role, you will be responsible for the functional vision of the product and serve as liaison between the IS/IT and Business organizations. As part of the Product Team, you bring deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing your business function and advises on the best solutions. You further translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements, and plays a key role within the product team to specify, test and deploy those as IS/IT solutions
 


What you’ll do

 

  • Implement effective IS/IT Change and Release Management / Test planning and execution / Incident and problem management practices. Lead continuous improvement activities where needed. 
  • Requirements Gathering: Get a deep understanding of the business processes / best practices / challenges / key success factors and work with stakeholders (Headquarters, Markets, Regional or Globally managed business) to gather and validate business requirements of complex solutions. Advise on best possible option to respond to business requirements. Make decisions, provide recommendations, and resolve conflict raised by the project team or stakeholders to drive solutions in the correct direction.
  • Manage remote Development Team team and Operational governance with third party suppliers
  • Design, assess, and coordinate the functional part of an RFP (Request for Purchase) or an RFI (Request for Information).
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities and options for improvement.
  • Sustain 3rd Level: contribute to resolution of complex IM's, RM's and Problem tickets within the service level agreed with the markets. 
  • Ensure proper usage of design & build, Compliance and documentations in line with Nestlé IT standards and methodology.
  • Help guide future direction: Active participation in strategy definition for the area of responsibility, this includes integrating IT strategy and broader business context. Liaise with and involve teams outside of own area where required.

Minimum qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, experience in Life Sciences industry a plus.
  • 7+ years as Business Analyst with design and implementation experience in IS/IT, with Agile methodologies.
  • SalesForce Sales Cloud or Veeva Commercial Cloud Suite experience is a must
  • Good practical experience of Software development Lifecycle methods e.g SCRUM, Agile etc… 
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
  • Strong experience of development life cycle methodologies (paper based design, agile software development, rapid prototyping, lean start-up, KANBAN, and DevOps).
  • Experience in working with IS/IT consumers, understanding requirements and opportunities and translating them into solutions and taste-testing minimum viable products (A/B testing, etc.).
  • Working effectively with 3rd party offshore suppliers
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
  • Experience with life science or pharma processes and companies
