What You’ll Do:

  • The Senior Release Train Engineer (SaFe) acts as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), facilitating ART events and processes, and assisting teams in delivering value 
  • Establishes and ensures appropriate governance functions, by facilitating key ART events (e.g., PI Planning, System Demos)  
  • Assisting in tracking and removing impediments for the ART 
  • The Senior RTE plays a key role on escalating impediments, managing risks and ensuring that the value is delivered effectively 
  • Identifies and mitigates risks, keeping issues visible, to avoid impacting the success. 
  • Fostering continuous improvement within the ART 
  • Being the direct link with the Product manager and scrum master's to ensure alignments cross all Teams and stakeholders 
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of cross-functional Teams and ensures the adherence to the Business Roadmap plan & vision

What Will Make You a Great Fit:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in the IT and Business / industry as coach for the Agile Release Train (ART)  with increasing leadership responsibilities 
  • Deep understanding of Agile and SAFe principles  
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and communication skills  
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English  
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic prioritization and complex governance initiatives 
  • Strong result-oriented focus with a proactive approach to driving progress and ensuring attention to detail in project delivery 
  • Ability to identify bold opportunities and advocate for them with stakeholders 
  • Strong business acumen with industry-specific knowledge. Familiarity with industry trends and innovation 
  • Well organize and able to manage a big scope at the same time 
  • Experience working in global environment and with virtual teams 

 

Bonus Points If You:

  • Substantial consulting leadership experience is a plus 
  • Previous experience as RTE is a plus
