Senior Technology Specialist - UX/UI Product Owner

We are looking for a Senior Technology Specialist – UX/UI Product Owner to be part of our IT Marketing Sales & eBusiness team.

The role 

In this position, you will be part of the D2C eCommerce Product Team, acting as a UX/ UI Product Owner for Nescafé Dolce Gusto brand.

 

What you’ll do 

  • Work with Nescafe Dolce Gusto Global Business Unit Product Manager owning UX/UI vision and strategy and translate the business vision into technical vision.
  • Act as a Product Owner driving Nescafé Dolce Gusto UX/UI squad deliverables.
  • Build and maintain UX/UI roadmap, prioritize the backlog, specify user stories with the help of a business analyst.
  • Collaborate directly with the Creative Agency and validate the feasibility of the design implementation in Adobe Commerce. 
  • Participate in the ecommerce delivery, being part of a dedicated UX/UI squad.
  • Monitor tech and business KPIs related to UX/UI and take actions for optimization.
  • Coordinate preliminary studies, general systems specifications, and detailed systems specifications.
  • Assess the delivery from external partners and act as the Nestlé in-house expert to validate proposals from agencies.                       
  • Develop prototypes or POCs for proving out new technology and validating use-cases that the team considers important to our end-state architecture.
  • Liaise with the security team to consult on security requirements and processes.
  • Benchmark the market looking for competitive solutions.
  • Drive prototyping and implementation of new design in reference website environment.
  • Provide recommendations and support for Web mastering activities to agencies and markets who are the business users of the Platform.
  • Deliver cookbooks for feature implementation.
  • Share UX/UI and web mastering best practices with the business users.

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience. 
  • We welcome ex-developer profiles with career ambition to transition to UX/UI Product Owners as well as business product owners who are technically savvy and able to evaluate feasibility of the design into Magento/Adobe Commerce.
  • Experience working in an eCommerce delivery team, using agile methodologies.
  • Magento, Adobe Commerce strong hands-on experience (in Omni-Channel context). 
  • Product Owner Experience. 
  • Magento / Adobe Commerce UX/ UI implementation over Luma or Hyvä Themes.
  • Experience extending or customizing Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Enterprise) - experience with other frameworks such as Drupal, Demandware, Hybris and/or OS Commerce is a plus.
  • Extensive experience developing websites, back-end integrations
  • Extensive experience with PHP 4/5, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, MySQL and familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and other JS frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Web Analytics and SEO techniques.

 

Bonus Points if you have: 

  • Experience and knowledge on Accessibility requirements.
  • A/B Testing, via Optimizely.
  • Experience/knowledge of Loyalty programs.
  • Web Core Vitals optimization.
