Position Summary

The new advances in Digital Technologies bring new ways for consumers to interact with their preferred brands and open up new avenues for companies to reach out and provide personalized services to their consumers. Nestlé’s Digital Experiences (DX) Tech Product Group designs, develops, integrates and operates the cloud technologies and AI-powered data systems that allow brands like Nespresso, Purina and Nescafé to bring exciting new digital experiences to millions of consumers around the world. The DX Tech Product Group is currently looking for a Digital Experiences Solution Architect.

As Digital Experiences Solution Architect you will be the technical authority in the overall End-to-End Architecture of one or several vertical Digital Experiences solutions. You will be ensuring that all interfaces, communications, data models and APIs between the different building blocks of such vertical Digital Experience solutions are well defined, technically feasible and meet business requirements. Additionally, you will be the Single Point of Contact (SPoC), the enabler and driver of all discussions with other groups within Nestlé to properly and seamlessly integrate one or several vertical Digital Experience solutions with other back-end systems such as ERPs, CRMs, etc. 
As Digital Experiences Solution Architect you will ensure that of one or several vertical Digital Experience solutions are compliant from a security and architecture perspective, meet business requirements and fits within Nestlé’s Digital landscape. As Digital Experiences Solution Architect, you will work together with other Solution Architects in the definition, development and deployment of wider Digital Experience platforms and products, aiming at the large-scale industrialization of best in class Digital Experience solutions. 
 

A day in the life…

• Overall governance of the End-to-End Architecture of one or several vertical Digital Experience solutions
• Ensuring the proper definition and interoperability of the different building blocks of one or several vertical Digital Experience solutions
• Reviewing and coordinating all interfaces, communications, data models and APIs between vertical Digital Experience solutions and other back-end systems
• Participate and actively contribute to technical and architectural discussions within the Digital Experience Tech Product Group, explore integration and improve interoperability with other platforms, products and solutions 
• Ensure compliance with standards and existing methodology as well as deliverables’ quality. Create and maintain comprehensive product technical documentation
• Participate in the definition and development of Digital Experience roadmaps and support the technical decisions
• Researching new technologies to optimize the current Digital Experience solutions and to make them sustainable for the future, applying in-house standards and market best practices
• Design and document detailed architectures for one or several vertical Digital Experience solutions
• Influence the technology directions of Nestlé’s Digital Experience strategy in collaboration with other departments
• Ensure the quality of the delivery of the external partners 
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications
   

What will make you successful...

• 7+ years of experience in application architecture, database architecture, and networking
• Proven experience in architecting and developing cloud-based solutions 
• Proven hands-on experience in the design, development and operation of cloud digital solutions at scale: IoT, Mobile Applications, Conversational AI and AR/VR
• Good understanding and hands on experience on complex enterprise systems integration (CRMs, ERPs, etc.)
• General Knowledge of Mobile Apps development lifecycle (Android & iOS)
• Demonstrated experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous development methodologies and tools
• Familiar with Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure & GCP
• High level of comfort communicating effectively and in English across internal and external organizations
• Understanding of application, server, and network security and compliance requirements 
• Experience in working with cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way.
