In order to complete our IT Human Resources Department, we are currently looking for a Solution Architect – People Analytics, Workforce Planning, HR Master Data & Contingent Workforce.  

 

In this position, you will be accountable for supporting proactively and holistically Enterprise Architecture (EA) activities within the Product Group and Platforms that fit within the overall EA and meet the product group strategy. As a Solution Architect, you will provide the necessary leadership, experience, analysis and design tasks related to the development of a set of products within a product group. You will work closely with DevOps / development teams and suppliers to secure that the value planned will be delivered in the most optimal way according to the product strategy and the overall value for money objectives linked to the IS/IT strategy. You will be accountable for supervising the design as well as the integration execution within the scope, collaborating with the integration platform team and owning the solution architecture specification.

A day in the life of...
  • Manage and develop the architecture for a People Analytics, Workforce Planning, HR Master Data & Contingent Workforce product group, working closely with application and solution architects that manage the other ITHR product groups. 
  • Deliver the architectural design for products and inputs to the roadmap by utilizing knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience in order to translate a business need into a solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution 
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations  
  • Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements  
  • Define the guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision  
  • Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring product architecture assurance and compliance 
  • Engage with Tech Leads, BAs, Product Managers and EA within (and across) the product groups to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture 
What will make you successful
  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations 
  • Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt 
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies 
  • Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models 
  • Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems 
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments 
  • Excellent understanding of application development methodologies & infrastructure and network architecture 
  • Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements 
  • Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives 
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations 
  • Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organization 
  • Experiences working in a global environment and with virtual teams
