Position Summary

To complete our IT Platforms Department, we are currently looking for a Solution Architect - SAP Landscape.

In this position you will be accountable for the technology architecture of Nestlé’s SAP Landscape and act as custodian of the SAP technical landscape with the ambition to provide a state-of-the-art and secure platform for Nestlé. Additionally, you will play a key role during our upcoming S/4HANA transformation journey.

In this role you work closely with Nestlé IT Product Owners & Solution Architects and SAP ECS Technical Architects to provide fit-for-purpose SAP solutions for the Nestlé business.

Key responsibilities

• You will play an active role in the global Nestlé S/4HANA transformation project
• You will contribute to the technology roadmap for SAP applications and drive the high-level planning and adoption together with product streams and our partners
• You play a key role to convince stakeholders, including senior management to provide funds to support strategic technology driven changes
• You contribute to the delivery of the integration of solutions within the product / product group / platform and the integration strategy for cross-product group purposes
• You deliver the technology architectural design for products or product groups based on functional requirements and assess the organizational and financial impact
• You actively participate in Architecture Review Meetings
• You establish relevant standards and suitable guidelines in close cooperation with domain and platform architects

Are you a fit? You should meet a few criteria of the list below:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in SAP Technical Architecture in a large environment including SAP NetWeaver, database management (SAP HANA) and associated infrastructure
• Good knowledge of Cloud Hyperscalers (focus on Microsoft Azure)
• Experience with S/4 HANA conversion projects
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Solid architecture knowledge of hardware technologies (compute, storage, virtualization, high availability, disaster recovery, backup and recovery)
• Design and/or architecture of technical solutions in large environments (multi-TB, scale-out)
• Ability to quickly comprehend and assess the functions and capabilities of new technologies
• Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into technical solution architecture requirements
• Ability to validate the financial impact of technology architecture alternatives
• Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
• Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organization in a global environment
