The role
In this role, you will be the go-to expert, driving the governance of Syndicated data, or Sell-out Data, to ensure quality and usability in our key Data Products within our Nestlé enterprise Data Lake. You'll lead and coordinate activities across various geographies, categories, and functions, ensuring seamless management Your efforts will ensure that our data is treated as valuable enterprise assets, maintained to the highest standards, and leveraged effectively to support our business goals, all in line with Nestlé's standards.
What you’ll do
As a Sr. Data Steward - Marketing & Sales (Syndicated Data) you will :
- Collaboration: Work with corporate functional business owners, geographical zone data leaders, IT Solution teams, and NBS shared services to ensure data is managed as enterprise assets and utilized effectively to support business objectives.
- Governance: Define and orchestrate governance rules for syndicated data.
- Data Quality: Define, implement, and monitor data quality metrics, business rules, and reporting mechanisms validated by functional data owners. Develop and maintain data governance dashboards to ensure transparency and build trust in data.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with data owners and IT/IBS teams.
- Project Contribution: Contribute to or drive projects to optimize processes for collecting syndicated data for integrated usage across solutions. Contribute to training material.
- Data Model Management: Manage the global syndicated data model; review, define, and implement data standards, policies, best practices, and roles & responsibilities related to master data management. Define business rules for automation where possible.
- Service Deployment: Define and support the deployment of new services related to syndicated data in Nestlé Business Shared Service centers

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer science, Business administration or related field, or possessing equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience and functional understanding of data acquired from our retailers or third parties like Nielsen. Also understanding Sales, promotion management, B2B, Customer management processes and related data points.
- Strong and effective communication skills and ability to leverage them at distinct levels in the organization and in English.
- Ability to influence peers in IT and functional stakeholders in global and virtual environments with the aim to adjust behaviors and adopt data governance policies.
- Strong previous experience with data analysis tools to identify opportunities/issues in our data (advanced excel, Power BI etc.).
Bonus Points if you:
- Have a good understanding of SAP CRM & SD Modules and Customer & Product data structures.
- Have experience of any Sales related technologies such as; Sales Force Automation, Distributor Management Systems, Trade Promotion Management/Optimization, Revenue Management, Sales Recommendation Engines, etc.
