Position Summary
As Reporting Analyst in Supply Chain you will provide analytical management reporting support to the Ensuring Supply (ES) Management team within Purina EMENA. You will also be responsible in further developing ES reporting and scenario-building based on factual data available.
A day in the life of...
- Develop, maintain and deliver on time weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports aligned with EOP and ES reporting requirements - enabling the management to take decisions using the right information across all time scales
- Continuously improve existing reports towards being more accurate, comprehensive, readable, effective and decision relevant while increasing the degree of automation
- Ensure, check and challenge data for consistency and logical coherence; coordinate the maintenance of key master data fields in conjunction with the appropriate teams to ensure the validity of the data
- Assist in the developments of analytics within Big Data; provide ad-hoc project support in the form of data extraction and analysis
- Leverage data with guidance to build scenarios and support model building for key ES master plans
- Provide reporting support to all EOP functions, both centrally and factory based
- Ensure adherence to all Company principles, policies and guidelines
What will make you successful
- Degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as Reporting Analyst or in business analytics in an international environment in a relevant functional area (Planning, Business Analytics or Finance department, among others)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel with a basic working knowledge of VBA
- Excellent knowledge of Business Objects, MS Power BI Webi /
- Knowledge of Tableau is a plus
- Strong ambition and emerging capability to understand the data in the meaning and relevance
- Ability and ambition to leverage data in a decision support process
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized, pragmatic and analytical mindset
- Excellent English communication skills (speaking, writing) at different levels within the organization
- Experience working in a global environment and with virtual team
